Chapter 14

There was not much interaction between me and Alex. He just told me which direction I needed to go to get to the 'sacred place' and I followed it. I'm really pissed off at him and his secret. He knew who that man was that I saw yet he wouldn't tell me who it is. I just don't know why he won't tell me. It's not like I'm going to tell everybody. Alex act's like he cares for me so if he does then shouldn't he have to trust me as well? I don't want to think about it that much but it's kind of hard with that person being wherever I am. It's like he has been surgically attached to my hip. So far we are in the middle of nowhere when Alex tells me it's just one more corner to go. Naked trees with not a single leaf surround me and Alex. The sky is now a light blue colour indicating a start of a new day. I take a deep breath before making a sharp turn. At once each of my side is covered with thick green bushes.

I'm quiet surprise at that since there isn't much natural healthy environment left. Turns out plants can't live that long without sunny days. "Stop when you see the gate" Alex said loudly. I look back at him confuse. Gate I think where the heck is that going to be? My question was answered in seconds because on the left hand side bush a gaping hole was left out where a huge gate fit into place. I halt Nini in front of the gate and push back some of my wild hair. The gate is a gold colour and looks very hard to break. Between the rails of the gate I see a big massive mansion! The mansion is made out of grey colour stones and the entrance is a big wooden door. The wooden door has a kind of grey roof stone to it personally that gave it a shaded darkness.

It looks part church due to the four towers reaching to the sky. There is also a grand feeling towards it as it looks simple and olden from the structure it is built in. Green Ivy is crawling up the walls and decorates the windows of the mansion. Each window has its own personal balcony towards it. The mansion is place in a field with luscious green grass which is amazing considering that green grass isn't found anywhere much then in cemeteries. There is a stony looking path that leads from the gate to the door of the mansion. The mansion was humungous so I knew there was a lot of room inside. That's when I notice that on either side of the mansion but more to the front and space apart were two small mansions that were size of a church. These two other buildings were connected to the biggest mansion by a bridge in the middle of the air between them. Just like the main mansion the two other ones were similar with Ivy covering them. It looks like the building had come out of a fairy tale book.

"Beautiful" Alex said to me. I look back at him surprised that he felt like he could talk to me just after he denied telling me the truth. I took a step forward not bothering to answer him and lightly touch the golden gate. I only felt the ice cold metal for a second before the gate opened anonymously like a ghost had push it open. 'Amy and the rest of them must have told the others that we were coming so they probably opened the gate in advance' Alex said in my mind. I knew I wouldn't be able to avoid Alex like this forever but I still wanted to try. I gave a little shrug then turned around and opened Nini seat and grabbed Aureoles book before entering the 'sacred place' It felt silly to me when I entered the place because I wasn't pure at all and yet I was still allowed to enter something so sacred. Both I and Alex walk to the main door and I admired the scenery. The stony path I could see had actual stones of different sizes stuck into the path which to me was just silly. I could also see the inner beauty of the mansion because everything looks and sounded so peaceful. The field look like it went on for miles and miles.
