The room was like nothing I had ever seen before. I doubt it was even a room. First of all the room was freezing cold that my breath came out like little wisp of smoke. The room walls and floor was made out of some kind of stone the colour of a emerald green. Green spikes as tall as a six years old child were sticking out of the floor. There was no light in the room yet somehow the room was still really bright and sparking. Then on the wall was three blocks the same emerald green, but they stood out against the wall as there was deep writing carved into each of the blocks. For some odd reason my eyes were watering so I turned my gaze, from the writing barely able to examine it and rubbed my eyes. The room was fairly large so all of us could fit in. The others were in a formation of a large circle around me, Alex, Amy, Jade and Brain. "What is this place" I finally ask

Wondering where the heck I was. I couldn't even tell if I was still in the mansion that was how different it was.

"To answer the question we must start from the beginning" the booming voice said. After a second of deathening silence fell.

Until the previously same female  voice spoke "when all the supernaturals came through the portals into this pathetic world, we all landed into the same place. It was here exactly" I look down on the floor shock imagining all the supernatural's falling from the sky in a heaping pile. "Then" continued the female voice "we all made packs. We thought that the place we landed in was very special. 'Sacred' to be exact. So before all the supernatural's split off into the pacts we decided to work together to build the mansion. It took a year to do so. This is the place supernatural's pack use to make treaty or to have the 'sacred ball'" the female voice explained. "Wait, I still don't understand why you call this the 'sacred place'?" I questioned.

"The reason we call this the 'sacred place' is because of this room. Look at the walls" the booming voice said then suddenly all the black cloaked figure's pointed at the wall with the writing at the same time. Ok that was really creepy. As soon as I look at the wall to see how the writing was my eyes started to water and blur. I look away and rubbed my eyes again. Ok why is that happening? I thought. "Macy you ok?" Alex asks. "Yeah fine" I grumbled as I stroke both my eyes once more. "The walls contain a language that no supernatural can understand nor can read. We call them the scriptures" "Why" I questioned. "We do not know. We could not understand them ever. No one could read them until 14 years ago" the mocking voice replied. I meant to ask why they decided to call the scriptures but oh well I did want to know that too. "What happened 14 years ago" I asked dreading the answer. "We had found the 'chosen one' Valentina" answered the booming voice.

"I don't understand what does Valentina has to do with the scriptures" I questioned. "Valentina is a soul sucker one of her kind since one thousand years ago. She was bound to be important. When her tiny pack came here to seek help because they were being slaughtered by a larger pack, Valentina stumbled into this room. She could read the scriptures and tell us what they said. She was the only one that could do so. She told us that one person that would save us, supernatural's from evil and the creatures of the night. This one person would save us and destroy the creatures of the night. It was

Valentina the 'chosen one'. Once we figured this out then the supernaturals held the 'sacred ball' where Valentina could choose the pact she would stay with. She chose us It was agreed that no other pact was to interfere in our choices on how to handle with the 'chosen one' It is one of the main laws that lets you survive." the female voice explained. 14 years ago I thought. That would have made Valentina six so very young yet considered to be an adult.

"What about Valentina's normal pack?" I asked. "They were not worthy of life and the 'chosen one'. They were eliminated" mocked the squeaky voice. I couldn't believe that this was how much pain was made because of Valentina. It wasn't even her fault anyway really. She was only six. She probably didn't understand what was happening half the time anyway. "You destroyed the 'chosen one' however we have decided that you should live to serve us for now. You destroyed the chance of our survival. You should be put to death" That's when I knew that something was dead wrong "no wait" I argued "if Valentina is meant to be the so called 'chosen one' she couldn't have died that easily" "No wrong. This is not one of those fairy tales where the 'chosen one' can survive until they have fulfilled the legend. She could have died due to the weaknesses and she did" replied the booming voice.
