Chapter 1

"Cameron?" I knocked on his door and gently opened it up a crack.
"Yeah?" He asked looking up from his phone.
I stood there for a few seconds fidgeting with my sleeve.
"Are you nervous for Magcon?" He asked. I didn't answer. He placed his phone on the bed and got up next to me.
He wrapped his arms around me, and rubbed my back.
"Don't worry about it. You'll be fine." He smiled and gave me an awkward wink.
"You're such a weirdo." I giggled and walked out his room to grab my luggage.
"We have five minutes." He grinned and finished his last minutes preparations.

I headed downstairs and sat on the couch.
"Have a great time, be safe, and listen to your brother." My mom lectured me.
"Okay mom. I will...don't worry." I gave her a hug and before I knew it....I was on an airplane heading to Los Angeles.

"The view is so pretty." I said looking out the window.
"Yeah, just wait until we get there." He replied.
"What's it like?" I asked him.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"What's it like being famous?" I said turning around towards him.

"Pretty cool I guess. I love hanging with fans. Their faces light up and it's the cutest thing ever." He blushed.

"Aw! I'm excited." I said jumping in my seat.

We landed in L.A. around 2.

"You hungry?" Cam asked.
"Starving!" I said rubbing my stomach.
"Okay, let's get our bags and head to a restaurant." Cam said as we walked to the baggage claim.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and saw I have 200 following requests on instagram, and I now have 50k followers on Twitter!
"Um! Cam! Look at this!" I handed him my phone.
"I tweeted out your usernames earlier." He laughed.
"Oh!" I giggled and grabbed my suitcase.
I must've forgotten how heavy it was, so when I grabbed it I fell over.
"Callie! Are you okay?" Cam ran over to me laughing.
I started to laugh so hard that I started to cry. "Did that just happen?" I asked.
"Yes! That was so funny!" Cam said while I was still laying on the floor.

"Do you need a hand?" Someone asked from behind me.
I turned around to see a handsome boy...probably around 16 years old behind me with his hand stretched out.
"Um, yes thank you." I said taking his hand and standing up.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Callie Dallas." I said.
"Oh yeah! You're Cam's sister." He grinned.
He had a cute little scar on his cheek that was adorable.

"Yep, that's me." I blushed and looked down at my feet.
"I'm Shawn Mendes." He winked.
"Oh yeah! I've watched some of your covers on YouTube." I remembered.
"Oh, thanks!" He smiled and blushed at the same time.

"Okay, you two want to go get something to eat before magcon?" Cam asked.
"Um, yeah let's go." Shawn agreed.
I just followed close behind.
