You were bringing Sammy home with you this Christmas, and he couldn't be anymore nervous. You both had packed your bags and were ready to head back to Y/S for the holidays. 5 bags, a 3 hour plane ride, and long car trip later you finally made it to your parent's house.
This year you decided to surprise your parents, so you told them that you wouldn't be able to make it home for Christmas. So you and Sam flew in on the day before so you could surprise them the next day.
Sammy still hadn't met the rest of your family, just your mom and dad who absolutely loved him. When you guys got to the hotel that you were staying in, you jumped right in the bed as Sammy looked at you.
"Whaaaaat?" you whine like a child and he chuckles
"I'm just so nervous about meeting your family babe" he sits on the edge of the bed
"Don't be Sam, they are all really cool people, they are going to love you I promise, especially my cousins" you smile hugging him from behind, putting your chin on his shoulder
"Ok..." he sighed laying back in the bed next to you as you both drifted off to sleep.
The next day the both of you got up and started to get ready for the Christmas party, the both of you were matching and wore the same ugly Christmas sweater and jeans, you also adding some Uggs.

You guys ended up leaving the hotel room at about 5, every black person knows that family functions never start on time and you wanted to come late to surprise everyone. You decided to drive since Sam wasn't very familiar with the area. The closer you guys got, the more nervous he became. When you were halfway there you grabbed his hand a squeezed it and kissed it in an effort to calm him down, which seemed to work.
You guys got there a little bit later and got all of the presents out of the car and went to knock on the door, holding the presents in front of your faces so they couldn't see you. When your mom answered the door she was confused as to who it was. The both of you moved the presents and smiled at her. Of course she started yelling and the whole family started to crowd around the door and they joined in on hugging and screaming at you.
When it all died down you looked over at Sammy to see him scratching the back of his neck and your family members looking over at him.
"Y/N who's that?" your cousin asked you, pointing at Sam
You smiled and walked over to him, taking his hand, "This is my boyfriend Sammy" he looked down at you and smiled
"Mmmmmm he's cute Y/N/N" one of your aunts said walking over to him and looking at him like a piece of meat
Everyone laughed and started to pull Sammy into doing different activities like watching football, playing cards and dominos, etc. When you finally got a hold of your boyfriend you whispered in his ear while he was playing spades
"See I told you they would love you" you smiled
"Yeah yeah yeah Y/N now I need to get back to my game he says kissing you on the cheek.
