We walked for a while along a railway, I walled behind everyone yet I was still beside the Redneck. I looked at him again but stopped I noticed we looked looking back at me at the corner of his eyes. He looked intimating for everyone else but I knew that in a couple of days I will have him wrapped around my finger.
"Wha' ya lookin at?" He asked me but no one else heard as they were having their own conversations with each other
"Nothing" I simply said as I looked back at the railway we where walking on "Glenn told me about your brother. I know what it's like loosing someone close to you" I told him, completely lying. The death of my family didn't faze ma at all.
"He ain't dead" he said to me, not taking his eyes off the ground. He was a little taller than me and a lot buffer than anyone else here
"I never said he was" I told him as he just growled in response. "You sound like a bear. You shouldn't growl, it's not very attractive" I said while smirking as I knew I had pissed him off. The facial expression changed into anger as he spead up his pace to get away from me.
The group stopped as I wondered why. "Where's the van?" Glenn asked
"Merle" was all he answered as he started running back to their camp. Everyone followed behind including me, my pace quickened as I was trailing behind.
After a while of running up hill everyone eventually got tired and slowed down to a fast walk. The sky was getting darker by the minute and it was hard to see the uneven ground as I tripped a couple of times. Every time I fell into Daryl's back and when I did he would turn around and give me a dirty look. "Sorry" I muttered in a bitchy tone
"Wha' you just say?" He nearly shouted while turning around and stopping in his tracks. Everyone turned around too to see what the comotion was
"I'm not repeating myself" I told him and I stood in front of him with my arms folded. He towered over me as if he tried to intimate me but it didn't work
"you better shut up or-" he threatened
"Or what? What are you gonna do?" I shouted, angering him even more
He threw hos crossbow on the ground and stepped closer to me but I stood my ground. Making him know he doesn't scare me. Rick and his group pulled Daryl back as they thought he was going to hurt me but me and Daryl both knew he wasn't going to. "Stop shouting. Both of you, you're going to attract every walker from a mile away" rick said while his eyes switched frome to Daryl. "If you can't get on with each other don't go near each other" he finished as Daryl turned around and started walking again. Rick sighed and walked behind him and I trailed slowly beside Glenn.
"He can be like that sometimes" Glenn told me quietly as he was scared Daryl would hear him.
"He's an ass" I told him, but I said it loud enough so I knew that Daryl would hear. He stopped and turned around again "what?" I said to him. He was about to say something back before Rick talked first
"Aura! Stop it. And Daryl, if she says anything don't say anything back" he shouted at both of us.
"If she says anything I'm gonna defend myself. I ain't pretending she didn' say nothing" Daryl said and our little argument stopped. Everything went silent as we kept walking up hill but the silence quickly stopped as a scream filled the air and Rick and the rest sprinted up with me following close behind. A small camp with an RV and a small fire was set up in a quarry. The scream came from a girl with a walker attached go her arm and more emerged from the bushes sending the other group members running in the other direction.
I pulled out my knifes and ran into the camp and started killing the walkers helping the group
