After listening to Dale's advice on talking to Daryl about my feelings I mustered up enough courage to walk upto his tent, he lay on his sleeping back looking bored out his mind.

He hadn't noticed me until I was only a couple feet away from his tent, his eyes following my every move.

"Hey" I said, ducking under the opening of his tent

He growled in response which made me lighty chuckle ,Remembering the first time he growled like that and the sarcastic remark I made.

His attention moved from me to his hands as I sat Cross legged beside him "can you please tell me why you've stopped talking to me?" I asked him as he looked at me again

"If ya could go back in time, wha' would ya dae first?" He asked as I shrugged "ya wouldn't go back ta the day we met and walk away?" He said as realisation hit me, a little part of my heart broke as those few words escaped his mouth. His facial expression didn't change from its angry position as his eyes burned through my skull.

I sulked before adding "you really pissed me off that day. What else was I meant to say?" I told him as my head hung low, his eyes shifted back to his hands. "How did you even find out? " I asked him

"Non' yer business" he told me

"I'm so sorry Daryl, I'm so so sorry. I'm sorry for every little mean think I've said to you, I'm sorry for not saying thanks for everything that you've done. Whether that's saving my ass or just having a conversation with me, I'm sorry for-"

"If ya say sorry one more time I will make ya sorry" he told me, cutting me off from my apology

"Yeah -um- sor- never mind" I said, standing up to get out his tent

"Where ya goin'?" He asked as I faced him again

"I thought you didn't like me anymore, cause I said that" I said as he looked at me confused

"I never said I didn' like ya anymore" his hand gently wrapped around my wrist as he pulled me back slowly.

I sat closer to him than before, his eyes looking in mine as silence overcame the tent as a stray hair fell In front of my face. His hand reached up to tuck it behind my ear but his hand went further and pressed against the back of my neck, pulling my face closer to his.

"Hey" I heard behind me, my head shot up before I said the first thing that came to mind

"Your temperature is really high" I rushed out, my hand touching his forehead.

"Am I interpreting something?" She asked, the slightest smirk rested on her lips

"-um- no, we were just -uh- talking, yes talking." I stuttered

"This isn't that good, but here" Andrea passed Daryl a book as I sat in the corner to give Andrea space to walk in

He flicked through the book "it ain't got pictures" he stated as I chuckled from the corner, Andrea turned to my direction and glared at me. I tried to cover it with a cough but failed miserably

"I'm so sorry. I feel like shit" she apologised to Daryl as he threw the book away

"Yeah, you and me both" he said as he fixed his pillow

"I didn't expect you to forgive me. If there's anything I can do just sh-"

"Ya where just trying to protect the group. We're good" Daryl cut her off as she exited the tent.

"But hey!" She turned around "shoot me again and ya best prey am dead"
