His lips bearly touched mine before he pulled away, his face bright red. I looked at him confused and leaned in again, trying to kiss him but he just stood up "What's wrong?" I asked him as he started pacing around the room "Daryl, stop. what's wrong?" I said
He stopped pacing and looked at me "how old are you?" He asked me, stepping back a little
"16" I answered
"Oh god. Really? 16? Fuck" he cursed, pacing the room again. Throwing his hands in his hair, pulling on it
"What's the matter?" I asked him, putting my hand out to try and calm him down
"What's the matter? Really Aura, you don't see a problem with this? You're half my age!" He shouted at me. I reached out my hand to touch his arm but he jolted back "get away from me" he said as I looked down, trying to keep the tears from spilling
"Okay" I said, my head hanging low as I opened the door and walked out. Silently closing it behind me.
I made my way into the empty reckroom and fell backwards on the white chair placed in the middle of the room letting my tears spill put silently. My hands covered my eyes and I sniffeled, as more tears came out.
I sat quietly for a couple of minutes until I heard the door opening. I quickly wiped my eyes and pretended nothing happened.
I saw Carol walk in, obviously not expecting me to be here " hello Aura how ar- what's wrong?" She rushed to my side ad I pourly tried to hide my face but I felt too weak too even move
I looked up at her as my eyes were all red and puffy "What do you do when the one who broke your heart is the only one who can fix it?" I asked her, still shaking
"Oh honey, I don't know. Why don't you tell me what happened" she said as she took both my hands in hers
"I was born" I spat at her as I stood up and walked out the door. I wiped my tears away with my hand again as I quickly walked Down the narrow corridor but slowly stopped outside Daryl's door. Our door
I rested my head against it as I heard nothing from the room. I closed my eyes I pushed myself off the wood "I wish I could go back to the day I met you and walk away" I spat as I walked down the rest of the corridor and sat at the long table that we would be having breakfast at
