I woke up alone is the same car I fell asleep in, the sun was shining bright through the window as my eyes flickered open. I looked around the vehicle for Daryl but he wasn't here, he left me asleep which I was greatfull for as I haven't got much sleep lately.
I got out the car and walked upto the crowd of people around the RV. Rick layed out a bag of weapons as he watched me walk upto them "everybody takes a weaopn" he said as Daryl's attention quickly switched to me as my footsteps quickened towards them
"These aren't the weapons we need. What about the guns?" Andrea asked
"What happens when someone shoots at the wrong moment and a horde happens to be walking by? Then it's game over for all of us" Shane pointed out as I nodded my head, agreeing with him
"Stay close" Rick said as he walked upto Dale and started talking to him.
I saw Daryl standing himself as I walked upto him "hey" I said as he turned around
"Hi"
"Thanks for letting me sleep" I told him as he stared at me
"I know ya haven' been gettin' a lot of sleep and I didn' wanna wake ya" he told me as I smiled at him
"Are we going in groups? to find Sophia?" I asked him as he nodded "can I go with you?" I asked him
"Why?"
"I just feel safer with you than anyone else in the group" I told him as I felt my cheeks turning Red from embarrassment.
"If ya want" he told me as he walked away from me
At first we all walked in a group together as Daryl took the lead as I followed behind him silently. He told us to stop ad we came across a green rent with items scattered around it.
"She could be in there" Shane pointed out
"There could be a whole bunch of things in there" Daryl told him as he walked upto the tent slowly and tried to look in but it was no use without un-zipping the tent completely
He looked back at us and shrugged as rick turned to Carol "carol" he whispered and motioned for her to come Over "call her name. If she's in there you should be the first voice she hears" he told her as she nodded
"Sophia, honey. Are you in there? Sophia it's mommy, we're all here baby." She said but there was no movement from the tent as Rick walked upto it beside Daryl. He un-zipped it slowly and pulled back the flap and started coughing at the smell of the dead corpse
Daryl crawled inside and we couldn't see what he was doing "Daryl?" Carol called out as he crawled back out the tent and walked upto us.
"It ain't her" he told her as carol turned and Lori hugged her
They stopped hugging when the sound of ringing bells filled the air and they ran to the direction of the sound "if we hear those bells maybe Sophia does too" carol said with hope
"She could be ringing them herself" Shane said as Rick sourced the exact location of the noise.
"Come on" he called out as they started running again
It wasn't long before he came across a lone church as Rick walked upto the doors and opened them, killing the walkers inside. After they were all dead the bell started to ring again and Daryl ran out. "It's on a timer" he said as he walked back to the group, his head hanging low
He walked up to me as I looked at him and smiled "I just want to find this girl" I told him as I was nearly in tears, his arm wrapped around me and pulled me close to his chest
"So does everyone" he told me, letting me go as everyone came. I took a mental note that he doesn't like showing his emotions in front of the group as I still stood beside him
As Shane, Rick and Carl went in or their separate group the rest of us went off together.
"Do you want my gun? Her take it, I'm sick of the looks you're giving me" I heard Lori say as I turned around and saw Lori give Andrea her gun
"Carol, I can't imagine what you're going through right now but you've got to stop blaming rick. I can see it In your eyes" she told her as Carol looled at her in disbelief and Andrea handed back her gun back
