I walked upto the room I knew Daryl walked into and knocked on the door. He opened it as he rubbed his eyes. "Wha' ya want now?" He asked me and I looked in his room that already looked messy
"There's no other rooms left, and I want wondering if -uh- if" I stuttered as he cut me off
"Sure you can stay in here" he said as he moved out the way to let me in and closed the door behind me "I'll take the couch" he said as he took his stuff off the bed and placed it beside the couch
No, no. You where here first, you take the bed" I told him as I moved his stuff
"Too late darlin'" he said as he fell backwards on the couch.
"Darlin'?" I giggled at the name he gave me. His eyes were shut but a small smile creeped onto his face
"Yea. So tell me darlin', why you so scared of needles? You a daddy's little girl and you told him you'd never go near the things" he said sircasticly, obviously not ready to know the answer
"No, he used to stick used ones in my arm and beat me till I fell unconscious" I told him with no emotion. I looked at my hands as he opened his eyes
"Sorry" he said. Sitting up from his spot
"You didn't know" I told him as I turned to face the door instead of him
"My dad beat me too" he told me. Standing from his seat and sat beside me, putting his arm around me. I rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, a single tear roled town my cheek and landed on his leg. "He was an alcoholic" he finished as he lay his head on top of mine
"So was mine. I watched him as the walkers tore out his insides and I had never felt so free" I told him as he nodded along
Two broken people will fit together perfectly, or destroy each other beyond repair. And right now, I was hoping we would fit together. But I have no idea how this is going to end.
