A boy with blonde spiky hair with red tips was wearing a cloak with red  clouds covering the said cloak. The said boy had recently turned 13 and was heading back to his home in the Village Hidden in the Leaves. He was currently being pestered by his formal comrades. AKA the members of the Akatsuki, a group of S-Rank criminals who were tired of being ordered by the villages respective Kages, and the boy was the leader...

"Please Leader-sama! Reconsider!" A woman named Konan begged. Naruto rolled his eyes.

"You can stop calling me that. I am no longer the leader of this organization. I had a wonderful time with all of you." He said calmly. "I am still loyal to my village, you no longer need me."

"That's not true! We wouldn't have been able to do a lot of our mission without you Leader-sama!" A young man named Sasori cried out. The members were all close to the boy.

"Call me by my name please." The blonde requested. He took off the cloak as he knew Konoha was near. He handed it to Nagato. "You are the leader of the Akatsuki now."

Nagato seemed completely shocked. "T-thank you...Naruto-san." he sputtered out in surprise. Naruto smiled warmly at the group. "I will miss the company of the finest Shinobi of the elemental nations. Be safe. And," he added. "Keep in touch with me." Konan ran up and hugged Naruto that, to a normal person would crush them completely, but Naruto is no ordinary boy.

Naruto hugged back and smiled at Nagato. "Hurt her, and I'll kill you." He said seriously. Nagato took a step back believing every word he was hearing. "I'm just kidding. But seriously, don't you let her get hurt!"

"Yes sir!" Nagato said hastily. Naruto smiled.

"Then I'll be off. Goodbye my comrades, and my friends." They nodded in unison before taking off. Naruto turned around and walked to the gates of Konoha. "May the journey of my life, continue." He said putting on a black jacket with the hoodie up. He walked towards the gate until he heard a voice.

"Halt! State your name, and your business here." One of the gatekeepers demanded.

"Is that anyway to treat a friend Kotetsu?" Naruto asked as he took off his hoodie. Kotetsu was the eternal gate watcher and one of the very few who treated Naruto like a human in Konoha.

"N-Naruto? Is that you?" He asked in a disbelieving voice. Naruto gave him a fox like grin. "In the flesh." Naruto paused before poking his forehead. "I hope."

Kotetsu smiled. "We'll go on and see Hokage-sama, he's been awaiting your arrival all day."

"Thank you." Naruto said as he walked by him, dropping a bag of money on purpose next to the Chunin.

"You dropped you're money." Kotetsu said picking it up and attempted handing it back to Naruto. Naruto continues walking. "I know." He said simply before disappearing. Kotetsu smiled and looked in the bag only to faint. (Don't know the currency so I'ma go with American Money!) The bag contained over 100,000 dollars in it.

Hokage Office

The third Hokage was busy battling his greatest enemy...Paperwork. It took him all day just to get through a stack of papers. He was surrounded by stacks... He was in the middle of reading a paper about the council trying to give Sasuke Uchiha more authority over the Jonin when he heard a cough. ANBU coughing on the job? He thought as he looked up. What he saw he just couldn't believe.

A single boy no taller than 5'4" in a black hoodie was surrounded by the  bodies of the ANBU forces. The shocked Sarutobi stood up. "You shouldn't attack me boy." He said, leaking KI. The boy laughed.
