Chapter 13

The 3rd Exam!

Naruto walked calmly to the arena where the other genin were, his new black cloak that covered his body whipped away in the wind. (Like Sasuke's in Boruto) When he got down he noticed Sasuke was missing. He didn't really know why, Kakashi trained Naruto the month in his most powerful Jutsu. The Chidori.

Flashback Jutsu

A day after the spar

"Okay Naruto, you've proven to be smart and adequate with your Rinnegan. But you haven't shown any forms of ninjutsu in front of me. How many do you actually know?" Kakashi asked curiously as Naruto stood Infront of him.

"Well, I know Rasengan, that's one of my favorite since my father made it. Um, I know about 100 of each element. But so far, lightning is one of my weaknesses, I just can't find any good teachers for it." He said putting a finger on his chin while thinking. "But I'd have to say that wind, water, and fire are my strong points." He finished. Kakashi nodded.

"Well, you're in luck. I just so happen to have a lightning infinity and my signature move is made of lightning. Now, you have two choices in what I can help you with. I can help you make an elemental Rasengan with one or all of your infinities, or I can teach you my move, Chidori. Which one do you choose?" Naruto smirked as he made 500 shadow clones on each side of him.

"You can make a shadow clone as well. Can't you teach us both?" Naruto said with a big grin. Kakashi eye smiled and nodded before making a shadow clone.

"Might as well get started now."

Flashback end.

Naruto smirked as he saw the crowd glaring at him. They heard what the "demon" did to Kiba and we're directing all their hatred at him tenfold. He shook his head silently before looking at his competition. There were the sand siblings, Shikamaru, Hinata, Dosu, and Shino. Sasuke was just missing.

Naruto yawned before looking at Hayate. "Who am I facing?" He asked lazily before Hinata stepped forward with a smug smile crossing her face.

"You'll be facing me deadlast. Just because you beat another deadlast does not mean you can take out the genius of the almighty Hyuga, the heiress no less." She said smugly. Naruto frowned.

"You are no genius. I heard that you had to use the branch member mark to beat Neji. How pathetic. You can't even win against your own branch family unless you use the seal because you're a coward." He replied. Hinata shook in anger.

"How dare a clanless loser pathetic boy talk about me being a coward. You cried like a little bitch and ran away after you found out the truth about that whore." Hinata yelled earning some gasp from the crowd. Naruto laughed.

"Clanless? You think I'm clanless? Hinata, I'm from one of the most powerful clans in the world and you call me clanless?" He laughed again. "My father was the 4th Hokage and you call me clanless? My mother was an Uzumaki and you call me clanless?" He suddenly got serious and glared at the girl.

"My doujutsu is far more powerful than yours is. You are pathetic and weak. And if you ever call me a coward again." He paused. "I'll take what is most precious to you." The Hokage thought it was time to start the exams.

"It is time to start the exams, but before I do, I'd like to introduce Lord Mizukage and his daughter along with Lord Kazekage." He yelled as people cheered. Naruto went wide eyed as he saw the Mizukage. It was not Yagura, no, it was Zabuza. He smiled brightly.

So they finally got back their village huh? I'm glad. He thought. His smile widened even more as he saw Haku standing next to Zabuza. She smiled warmly at him before sitting down next to her surrogate father.
