Chapter 11: Pent of Sadness

Naruto was sitting on the training grounds alone. The thing he was afraid of. Naruto was scared of very few things, but being alone always was his worst fear. He was afraid to be abandoned by his loved ones. And that's exactly what happened. Anko betrayed him and he was terribly, terribly alone.

As Naruto dwelled on these feelings as he sat, he couldn't help but let a few tears slipped by. He quickly wiped them away when he sensed a couple of chakra signatures coming his way. He stood up and waited. As if on cue, Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai, Guy, Hayate, and...Anko showed up at the same time right in front of him. He looked at the Jonin.

"What do you want?" He asked, venom lacing his voice as he glared at them, making Anko flinch.

"We have been ordered by Hokage-sama to test you." Kakashi said lazily. "And it seems we have to go all out according to Anko." He pulled up his headband to reveal his gift Obito gave him. Kurenai looked at Naruto with a sad smile.

"Why did you hurt my student that way?" She asked in a chilling voice. Naruto scoffed.

"Because he needed to be put on a leash. With that mutt you can't possibly know can you?" Naruto smirked as Kurenai narrowed her eyes. Guy then stepped forward, taking off his weights.

"What you did to Kiba-san was very unyouthful." Guy proclaimed. Naruto looked at him before smiling.

"Is that so? Sorry that he took one of the few things I actually like about this village." Anko flinched internally. Naruto took off his mask and his head band.

"Naruto, put on your headband. It represents a spar between two or more of the same village." Asuma said heatedly. Naruto narrowed his eyes at him.

"I will not put it in until after we fight. I'd rather not wear it because when I was in the Akatsuki, I was the only one who didn't have one. So now, I won't have one at all." He said before throwing it to a nearby tree. "Let me play with you. It may just be fun. But fair warning, I will delve into your deepest fears, and your deepest regrets. By the end of our little play time." He paused before smiling sadistically. "I will know each and everyone of your secrets."

Asuma attacked first, going for a couple shuriken throws. "You shouldn't be arrogant brat. Shadow Shuriken Jutsu." He yelled before the multiple shurikens turned to 100. Naruto openly laughed.

"Cool Jutsu. I needed extra shuriken, I was going to restock but you just saved me money." He then, with incredible speed, grabbed all the shurikens in a matter of seconds, causing Asuma's jaw drop. Naruto then threw all the shuriken back at the Jonin. "But here's how you really do it. Shadow Shuriken Jutsu!" He said before the 100 shuriken turned to 1,000. They all used the replacement technique.

"Come on. I thought we were having fun." Naruto said with a grin before his face turned serious. "You better come out before I hunt you down." Asuma was the first to jump down as he took a swing at him with his trench knives. Naruto easily ducked underneath him gave two hard jabs to Asuma's ribs. Naruto then made hand signs with incredible speed.

"Dragon Genjutsu: Memories of the Damned!" He yelled trapping ASU.a in a genjutsu. (Kinda like Itachi's tsukuyomi but he can see memories) Naruto scanned through Asuma's mind before one thing made him frown. He released the genjutsu which only took a few seconds in real time.

"Jeez Asuma. You are doing some really bad things to Kurenai." He said as Asuma froze. "I just read your deepest secrets from your mind. I can't believe you cheat on her." He then laughed an empty laugh. "And you beat her too. You beat her up when she tried to break up with you. You beat her up when she threatened to tell the Hokage or her friends. But you being your cocky self, said your a Hokages son and she was a clanless loser. You want her for her body." He said getting angrier by the second. She may have annoyed him but he still hated people who hit women for no reason.
