With my last suitcase loaded into the back of dads Range Rover I let out a sigh. This was it. I walked to my door, hearing the gravel shift and crunch beneath my feet. I took one last look at the mansion I've called home the past two years. Who knows when I'll see it again. Who knows when I'll be back, if I'll want to come back or if I'll ever make it back? Who will I be with and how will my life have changed?

I hopped into the back seat of the Rover. Ava and Molly were next to me, coloring in some pictures. Selena sat next to my father who was driving.

'Claire, Annie and Jason are gonna meet us at the airport.' Selena informed me, reading a text.

'Okay.' I nodded.

'I know Ellie would have wanted to be here.' Selena said, trying to sound kind. We all know Ellie certainly wouldn't have wanted to be here. She was at some big cheerleader tryouts that she couldn't miss if she wanted to make it to some team she's been dreaming about getting on since she was like five. I didn't mind.

The drive felt too short. Before I knew it I had my luggage unloaded from the car then checked in to be put on the plane. Nobody spoke the entire time.

'This is as far as we can go.' Dad said.

'I know.' I sighed.

I bent down to Molly and Ava. 'We made you these cards!' Molly smiled, as the two of them handed me some home made cards, complete with a stick figure family and lots of glitter.

'They're beautiful, thank you so much.' I smiled pulling them into a hug. 'I'll miss you two.'

'We'll miss you too Bobby, please don't go.' Ava said, her bottom lip was quivering and I felt awful.

'I love you two. I'll see you soon, I promise.' I smiled half heartedly at them. They nodded.

Next was Claire. 'I love you. Mom would be so proud of you Bobby.' She said after we hugged.

'I hope so.' I nodded. 'I'll see you soon?'

'Definitely, I'm coming to visit! Now I'll have a good reason to finally go to London!' She chuckled

'Come here.' Selena said, she pulled me into a hug. Then I hugged my father.

'I love you two so much, thank you for everything these past two years.' I smiled. Tears were threatening to spill.

'It was our pleasure.' Selena said. 'Claire is right, your mother would have been so proud.'

'She really would have.' My dad smiled. 'Have a safe journey, pumpkin.'

'I will.'

'We'll come to visit soon.' Selena said as a tear slipped down her cheek.

Last but not least was Jason and Annie. Elena and I had said our goodbyes that morning before I left.

'Thank you for being my big brother.' I whispered against his chest as we hugged.

'It was an honour.' He chuckled. 'God I'll miss you Beatrice.'

'Fuck off.' I rolled my eyes playfully.
