Cheryl & Liam - I've Tried Everything

Chapter 1

I've tried everything,
To get you off my mind
I've been running 'round,
Breaking things, getting into fights.
I don't know what it takes,

And everything is not enough.

Liam sang into the microphone in a studio in LA. He had been in LA recording for his debut solo album for a few weeks after deciding that going travelling really wouldn't have been the best idea; especially not when he got recognised near enough anywhere he went. The boys had been supportive about him creating a solo album, just like he was supportive with them with their solo projects.

It had been a long day in the studio so Liam decided to bid the producers goodbye and get back to his LA home. It was a luxurious home that he wished he shared with someone but it was hard to look for love in the industry that he was in. He sighed as he collapsed onto the plush sofa and turned the tv on to see what was on; he found a crime show and put it on whilst he pulled his phone out to check it.

He had a few messages to which he replied, along with emails. Once he'd replied he decided to check twitter, as he was scrolling through his heart dropped. He read the tweet over and over again, making sure that he was reading it right.

Cheryl was having another baby with JB. He was shocked that she even continued to be with him after everything he put her through. Liam was the shoulder Cheryl cried on when JB had run her down into the ground and treated her with no respect at all. Liam had advised her to leave him, to leave a marriage that caused her so much stress; but she didn't listen. She didn't want to leave Ruby without a dad, she had dreamed of starting a family and she never wanted her children to have to see a divorce of their parents like she did.

Liam clicked off the tweet and decided to text her, they didn't stop talking because they didn't want to. They stopped talking because JB thought Cheryl was going to cheat on him with Liam. Even though both Cheryl and Liam knew this was absolutely ridiculous, neither of them wanted to upset JB and for him to take it out on Cheryl.

He sighed as he locked his phone and prayed that JB didn't kick up a fuss about him texting her. Liam decided to make himself some dinner before going to bed so quickly cooked up some pasta. He ate it in front of the tv, his mind being some place else as he thought about Cheryl more and more.

He took himself to bed with a hot chocolate, hoping that it would make him tired and help him get to sleep. He stared at the ceiling for a couple of hours before he fell asleep, his dreams consisting of Cheryl.

"Wakey, wakey Ruby" Cheryl sang in a sing song voice. She watched as her three year old daughter started to rub her eyes before opening them, her beautiful brown eyes looking straight at her. "Good morning beautiful"

"Morning mammy" Ruby said as she smile slightly, her dimples appearing on either side of her cheeks; something she'd inherited from her mother.

"Are you gonna come and join me for breakfast? Daddy's making us a fry up!" Cheryl said in an amused voice.

"Daddy's cooking?" Ruby said shocked, opening her mouth and placing her hands on each cheek.
