Cheryl & Liam - I've Tried Everything

Chapter 10

"Congratulations, it's a baby girl" The midwife announced as Cheryl and JB heard the cries of their new born baby.

"Oh my god" Cheryl cried, tears pouring down her face.

"Another princess" JB smiled as he kissed Cheryl on the forehead, still holding her hand.

"Would you like to cut the cord dad?" Another midwife asked.

"Yes please" He smiled as he let go of Cheryl's hand to cut the cord.

The baby girl was then taken away to be weighed and checked over quickly whilst JB returned to Cheryl's side, constantly telling her how proud he was of her. Cheryl couldn't believe that she was now a mother of two daughters, her biggest dream of becoming a mother coming true once again. The midwife handed over the baby girl who was now wrapped in a cream blanket to Cheryl making a huge smile beam across her face.

"She's gorgeous" Cheryl sniffed as she held her daughter close to her chest who was gawking back at her, taking in the surroundings of the world she'd just been welcomed into.

"I can't wait for Ruby to see her" JB said as he stroked the back of his finger down the side of their new daughter's cheek, "What are we gonna call her?"

"How about Amelia Rose?" Cheryl suggested, the couple having discussed names before but wanted to see their daughter first before they decided on a name for definite, something they did with Ruby.

"Amelia Rose Fernandez Versini, I love it" He grinned at her.

"Shh, Mummy's asleep" JB told Ruby as she burst through the door with Joan and Garry, the pair having looked after Ruby whilst they rushed to hospital for Cheryl to give birth.

"Did I get a sister or brother?" Ruby asked excitedly, trying to be quiet but failing as she saw her mam stir and her eyes flutter open.

"Rubes" Cheryl smiled as she opened her arms for her daughter to climb up onto the bed to give her a cuddle.

"I missed you mammy" Ruby said, only being away from her since this morning, it now being around tea time.

"Aw I missed you too baby, do you want to say hello to your new baby sister?" Cheryl asked, stroking her daughters soft hair.

"I GOT A SISTER?" Ruby squealed and clapped her hands excitedly making everyone in the room laugh at her.

"Here sit against me bubba, now hold your arms out" Cheryl instructed her oldest daughter, "daddy will pass you her but you've got to hold her head ok?"

"Yes mammy" Ruby grinned, excited to finally meet her little sister.

"Here you are Rubes, say hello to Amelia Rose" JB announced as he carefully placed the baby into Ruby's arms.

"She's pretty mammy" Ruby said, already fascinated by her.

"Aye just like you sweet pea" Cheryl laughed and kissed her forehead, JB taking this as the perfect opportunity to take a picture of the little family.

"Mam do you want a hold?" Cheryl asked her mum a while later after Ruby got bored of just sitting there.

"Ooo yes please pet" Joan replied and quickly made her way over to Cheryl as she passed her daughter over "Oh look at her, she's absolutely stunning. She looks the spitting image of you as a baby too"

"She looks the exact same as Rubes too" Cheryl smiled, feeling so much love for her little family and felt like nothing could knock her down.

"Do you wanna post this picture babe?" JB asked, showing her the sweet picture he took of the three girls.
