"Are you nervous?" Grimmy asked Liam as he sat opposite him in the BBC radio one studio in the middle of their interview.

"Absolutely bricking it" He nervously chuckled, he couldn't believe that he was finally letting the world listen to the song he had kept close to his chest for so long.

"All the other boys have released their singles, why did it take you so long to release yours?" Grimmy asked as he went through the rough guideline of questions he had to ask him.

"Erm, I guess I never really found the right song to release as my first song. Like I have so many songs I've written but none of them felt like they were the one for my first ever single" Liam explained.

"Right, here we go. We'll chat about the song after once the world has listened to it. Do you want to introduce it?" Grimmy asked him as he started to fiddle around with the mixing desk ready to play Liam's first single.

"I'm Liam Payne, and this is my first single 'Say Something'" Liam said into the microphone before smiling nervously to everyone in the room.

"Wow how do you feel now it's been played to the world?" Grimmy asked Liam who was nervously playing with a pen on the table.

"Even more nervous" He laughed.

"I absolutely love it, it's such a soul wrenching song" Grimmy praised making Liam's stomach do somersaults.

"Thanks, I didn't know whether people would really expect me to go down that route of music" Liam smiled shyly, it being a big insecurity of his that people would have expected him to go down the more pop/rnb route and be disappointed when he didn't.

"I did expect a more of an upbeat song but this song is actually incredible, it's got such a strong message" Grimmy reassured him, knowing that Liam looked less nervous than he actually was, "Let's head over to some comments. Sandy from Brighton says 'Wow what a tune, I'm absolutely loving it already' Kelly from Northampton 'That actually made me tear up a bit, way to go Liam' See they love it!"

"Aw wow that's so nice to hear" Liam smiled in response to the comments about his new song.

"So has the song got any sort of message?" Grimmy asked, loving to get any gossip he could.

"Erm, it can be anything you want it to be, it's open to all interpretations" He cleverly replied.

"So it's not about anyone special?" Grimmy smirked, knowing exactly who he was referring to but wasn't going to out him on national radio.
