Hi guys!
I know, I know, these are super boring to read but I just wanted to point out some things before I start the story! I realize that some things in my story will not add up, like I realize that after Lily's love defeated Voldemort he wasn't up running around 7 years later, but for my story I am changing it so he had his own body at 7 years later, he was just extremely weak. Also I realize that Voldemort is a lot older than James and Lily Potter, Arthur and Molly Weasley, etc, but in this I am going to make them closer in age as Calliope and Harry are the same age. So, for the most part I will be following JK Rowling's spectacular story line, but there will be a few things I will be altering to fit my story better!

Also, this is a gradual love story! Harry and Calliope will not be falling deeply in love halfway through their first year!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, unfortunately, I only own Calliope.

BUT LETS GET ON WITH CHAPTER ONE WOOT

Chapter 1

I peeled my eyes open painfully as my whole body groaned in protest

I peeled my eyes open painfully as my whole body groaned in protest. Bellatrix always goes overkill when its her day to 'visit' me. Of course, by visit, I mean torture me until my body can't handle anymore and I pass out. I think Old Bella is just jealous because of how in love with my father she is, and he had a daughter with the only woman he ever truly cared about, and it wasn't her.

I slowly stood up, cracking my aching bones and stretching my screaming muscles. I walked towards the tiny crack in the stone wall of my cell, seeing the sunshine shining through it, and feeling the slightest breeze of fresh air hitting my skin, I closed my eyes calmly, picturing standing on a cliff in Ireland, with my mother by my side with the wind and sea spray hitting my face.

I sighed sadly. My mother. I guess I should tell you the story of my mother, and I guess, my father. It is kind of important to my own story, after all.

Everybody knows Tom Riddle was an extraordinarily gifted wizard. Gifted in looks, gifted in talents, gifted in academics. He was intimidating, emotionless, dark and devilishly handsome. The definition of a true Slytherin. Then, there was Cassia Hope. The total opposite of Tom Riddle. She was beautiful and radiant. The epitome of goodness and gentleness, believing that everyone deserves love and everyone can be redeemed. With long curly blonde hair and warm honey brown eyes, she was the definition of a true Gryffindor. When they say opposites attract, that was definitely the case for these two.

A large portion of the female population of Hogwarts were desperate for a chance to take the infamous Tom Riddle to bed, all of them except for Cassia Hope. However, he couldn't help himself by wishing she did. She was the only girl he ever paid the smallest bit of attention to, and that never changed. When all the other girls would lay the flirting on thick, he wouldn't notice, but all Cassia had to say was a simple "Hello, Tom." with her brilliant smile and he was weak in the knees.
