If you would have came to me in the last six years and told me that I would be in the situation I am currently in, I'd tell you to lay off the firewhiskey.
After producing my patronus, saving Buckbeak and having hope of saving Sirius, I felt like a million galleons. I was currently in my hippogriff form with Hermione perched on my back, gripping my feathers a little too tight as Buckbeak was flying beside me with Harry on his back.
I landed softly on the top of the Dark Tower as Hermione hopped off.
"Bombarda!" She yelled, causing the door to Sirius' cell burst open. "Come on, we have no time to lose!"
He climbed up on Buckbeak's back with Harry as I knelt down for Hermione to climb on again, all of us flying to the edge of the grounds. My heart soared at the sound of Sirius laughing freely, for the first time in 12 years.
As we landed and Hermione hopped off, I transfigured back into myself, giving Buckbeak a quick hug, thanking him again.
Harry was talking with Sirius so I kept my distance. I knew it would be impossible to live with him now that he was still on the run, I accepted it, I just hoped Harry could too.
"Calliope." Sirius called me, as Harry took a step back.
I walked over to him and he immediately took me in his arms, kissing the top of my head. "Thank you for everything you have done for me, I can never repay you."
"You don't have to." I smiled. "That's what family does."
"You're right, it is." He grinned, turning towards Buckbeak. "Oh, and by the way, your secret is safe with me."
I felt a blush rise to my cheeks as he winked at me, knowing he meant my developing feelings for Harry. "Get out of here, you mutt."
Harry and Hermione walked to stand on either side of me as we watched Buckbeak take off into the night, Sirius hooting happily on his back.
"Come on, we don't have much time left." I said as we turned and ran back to the hospital wing.
As soon as we got there, Dumbledore was just closing the door.
"It's done." I smiled, trying to catch my breath along with Harry and Hermione.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He said, sounding confused before walking away down the hall.
We pushed the door open to see the other us disappearing.
"What? How did you- you were just- there! And- and now you're there!" Ron stuttered.
"Don't be silly Ron, how can anyone be in two places at once?" Harry grinned as the three of us laughed at the look on Ron's face.
