As much as I enjoy Severus as a human being, I wasn't a fan of his teaching methods and how he treated my friends. Particularly Hermione.

Hermione was a brilliant witch, and knew everything Severus threw at us in depth, but he never gave her credit and consistently belittled her. I also had a bad feeling about this class as he was feeling particularly nasty.

"So, due to everyone's complete lack of talent in this class, I have decided to switch up your pairings, put you with someone who is more on your wavelength.

     "Weasley/Goyle, Potter/Zabini, Granger/Parkinson, Longbottom/Crabbe, Riddle/Malfoy..."

I looked at Hermione who looked as outraged as I felt. "I'll kill you if you'll kill me?" I offered.

"I'm honestly ready to take up that offer." She sighed, as she stood up to walk over to place her things next to Pansy.

"Riddle." I heard Malfoy snarl as he plopped down into Hermione's previous seat.

     "Ferret face." I greeted.

"Oh, you're not still mad at me, are you?" He joked.

"Because you're a stupid, snivelling coward with testicles the size of raisins, a beautiful creature is going to be slaughtered. So, yes, I am mad at you, Malfoy." I growled.
