*I talk about patronus analysis in this chapter, and the information I mention on Calliope's patronus is not all my own writing, but information I found on a tumblr page on patronus anaylsis, I am not taking credit for their work!*

Over the next few weeks, my life was wonderful for the first time in six years. It was better than I could have imagined. I made so many new friends, like Ron's sister Ginny, and the trio's friends Neville, Dean and Seamus. I also made the Gryffindor quidditch team as their new chaser, and we beat Ravenclaw two weeks ago.

Everyone in the school now knew who I was, and although a lot of people were still very weary of me, or just plain disgusted by me, it didnt bother me anymore. I had friends and all that mattered was that I had them.

Classes were going wonderfully, Lupin was the best DADA professor I could imagine (even though I know a lot of what he was teaching already), I had great marks in Transfiguration, Charms and COMC, and I was doing pretty well in potions as well.

Unfortunately though, when Lucius found out about Buckbeak he was furious and Buckbeak was sentenced to death.

Hermione, Ron, Harry and I were trying to research everything we could on hippogriff trials, but it wasn't looking good. Not to mention Ron and Hermione were fighting because Ron believed that Hermione's cat Crookshanks ate Scabbers, his rat. So tensions were a little bit high.

As a bonus though, Malfoy has been awful quiet after him waking up last week with gold hair and red sparkling writing across his whole face saying "I ❤ Muggle-Borns." that lasted a full 24 hours. The detention the twins and I received was totally worth it.

I glanced at my watch and realized it was almost time for my meeting with Harry and Professor Lupin. He was teaching Harry how to produce the patronus charm, as the dementors attacked us both on the quidditch pitch in our game against Hufflepuff. Having forgot my wand, I was also defenceless as my wandless magic wasn't nearly strong enough for me to produce a patronus charm and as the dementors love torturing Harry and I, we fell over a hundred feet before Dumbledore saved us.

Unfortunately, while both of us were falling, the wind took both our brooms and blew them into the whomping willow. Safe to say, if it were a wrestling match, the whomping willow won by a landslide. Oliver Wood was pestering us to get new brooms, but Harry and I refused to buy new ones as we were sent brand new firebolts. Hermione turned them in to Professor Mcgonagall because she believed they were sent to us by Sirius Black. Especially after he slashed up the fat lady's portrait trying to get into our common room.

Her, and Professor Mcgonagall both believe that he sent it to Harry and I with hopes of killing us both for his Master. Harry nor I bought it and were both extremely anxious to get them back before we play slytherin in a week.

"Honey, I'm home!" I yelled out, stepping into the DADA classroom.

"Hello, Calliope." Professor Lupin smiled at me, and Harry grinned.

"So, first day, let's do this." I said rubbing my hands together as Harry looked towards Professor Lupin.

"Think of the happiest memory you can, it needs to be powerful to conjure a patronus." Lupin explained.

When Harry said he was ready, Lupin released the boggart in the shape of a dementor. Unfortunately, Harry's memory must not have been strong enough, as not even the smallest wisp of white light came out of the wand and Harry passed out from exposure to the fake dementor.

I woke Harry up and passed him a piece of chocolate. "What memory did you use, Harry?"

"The first time I rode a broom." He said and I frowned at him.
