DOUBLE DIGITS YAY!
I smiled softly at Hermione who returned my stare. I pulled my wand from my pocket and muttered a quick spell to heal over the cuts from my nails before muttering another and clearing the blood off of both our hands.
"Thank you, Hermione." I said sincerely.
"Look, I don't know what it is about you. Whether it's your ridiculously contagious smile, your jokes, or what. But I just feel extremely close to you already. When Ron hugged you today, I have never seen him act that way. You've been here for two days. Yet, somehow, you're family. I'm not used to not being able to explain things, and I can't explain this. But, it's true. I think we were meant to be friends."
I stared at her for a moment. "You're not going to kiss me are you?"
She laughed loudly causing some students to look our way as I giggled along with her.
"Would you look at that." A blonde haired boy sneered, looking oddly familiar. "The mudblood knows how to laugh, I figured they don't teach that in books."
Hermione immediately stopped laughing, glaring at the boy who insulted her.
"Hey!" I called, he looked at me. "Shut up."
"Oh yeah, are you going to make me, Riddle?" He looked at me snidely. "Wouldn't want your father to know you were here, would you?"
"Shove off, Malfoy." Harry snarled.
I burst out laughing. "Malfoy? Oh, Merlin, I should have realized the resemblance." I said, giggling.
"Excuse me?" He asked, glaring at me.
"Lucy's your daddy!" I broke out laughing again. "Oh, how I miss him. He never did tell me where he gets his hair done. You look like you may know though, pretty boy."
He was about to retort when Snape strode into the room and began the lesson.

"How do you know Malfoy's dad? That was bloody brilliant how you told him off!" Ron exclaimed as the four of us walked out of the potions classroom and made our way to Care of Magical Creatures.
"Thanks, Ron. I couldn't let him get away with talking to Herms that way." I smiled, nudging Hermione with my shoulder. "And Old Lucy used to visit me at least once a week. He really hits like a girl. He's the one who found me after I escaped, in Diagon Alley."
"Wait, so when you showed up looking half dead, it was because of Lucius Malfoy?" Harry asked, looking angry.
"Yeah. Cornered me and kicked the hell out of me. A man saw it though and when Lucius was distracted, I apparated out of there. Rested in the woods somewhere outside of London, then apparated to the shrieking shack and walked up here. You all know the rest." I ended.
