Chapter 8.

SHANTAL'S POV~Niall's Dream~
I looked around and saw we were in the forest, I say we because I was standing next to Niall but he didn't seem to notice I was there.
"I'm a monster." Niall whispered quietly looking around at the thick bundles of trees that surrounded us. I stared at him watching as tears slipped down his face and dropped to the grass and dirt below. It hurt my heart seeing him look so vulnerable, so weak for once since I have known him.
"She will never love you." A struggled voice choked out from the ground about 5 feet away from Niall and I. At that moment I looked up and realized we weren't all alone, Alec was here, and he was bleeding.
"A-Alec?" I asked as tears formed in my eyes, neither paid any attention to me and that's when I remembered that this was Niall's dream, to them, I wasn't here.
"Shut up!" Niall screamed and hit Alec in the face causing blood to sputter out of his nose and land in big spots on the dirt. Alec let out a small whimper as he whipped blood away from his swollen and most likely broken nose. I stood glued to my spot staring as Niall growled at Alec letting his canines shoot out of his gums while Alec was to weak to anything but snarl in response.
"You're right, you are a monster, and Shantal will never love a monster." Alec spoke spitting up blood as soon as the sentence ended. Niall's face flushed with even more anger and his body began to shake as the anger radiated off him even more than before.
"It's because of you, she won't love me because she loves you!!" Niall screamed swiping his nails across Alec's bruised and bare chest ripping it and leaving three long gashes down his torso.
"She dosen't love me! She left me in the forest to go to you!!" Alec screamed making his face twist in pain when he raised his voice. Niall's body seemed to relax and his face turned to wonder over what Alec had just told him.
"You're right, maybe she does love me, that's why she left you, she never wanted you." Niall's face twisted into a crooked smile and all the love for him left me and all that was left was disgust and anger.
~End of the dream~
I opened my eyes and blinked many times trying to adjust them to the bright light in the room.
"Shantal, you have to get up we gotta go now, Niall is awake and is heading this way!" Hailey whisper-yelled and suddenly I was no longer tired, I was fully awake and before I knew it I was up and racing around the room grabbing different foods and a couple blankets then shoving them in a bag. I put my hair up into a tight but messy bun then I threw the bag over my shoulder and Hailey and I raced down the hall to her room grabbing Louis and and the other bags quickly then we ran down to the cellar with all the speed we had in us.
"What do you need down here?" A female voice asked once we were inside the cellar. I looked at the dark figure but couldn't see any details for it was far to dark in here.
"We need to see every living wolf down here." I said with confidence and command in my tone leaving no room for disobedience.
"And who is needing this may I ask?" She questioned in a bitchy tone as I heard the rocks beneath her shoes move as she stepped towards me.
"Don't you dare use that tone with me you bitch." I said standing taller and looking at her with disgust, I could sense she was a vampire so I knew she could see me even though I couldn't see her.
"Excuse me you little slut?!" She practically yelled at me making me even angrier, I am so tired of these stupid little blood sucking bitches. I pulled my hair down letting my wavy blue locks fall down my back and I instantly heard her gasp when she saw.
"P-Princess, i'm sorry I didn't know it was y-you." She rambled bowing in front of me. For once I was not angry at someone for bowing down for me, I was happy she did she needs to respect me and it's about time these people learned I am not someone to mess with.
"Give me the keys to all the cells immediately." I growled grabbing her chin and forcing her to look at me. I felt my eyes change and her eyes widened when my eyes changed from blue to a florescent purple and as soon as they did I could see everything as if the lights were on.
"Y-your eyes." She whispered frightened but did what she was told and handed me a key ring with about 6 keys on it.
"Now be a good little bitch and GET OUT." I growled with a smirk plastered across my lips. I don't know what has gotten into me lately but, I like it. I walked down the line of cells and peered into each one looking for any sign of life.
"I got one here Kiara." Louis called from farther down the aisles and I raced down to see a young male curled in the corner crying loudly. I opened the cage door and the male curled tighter into a ball and his body began to shake.
"Hey, it's okay, i'm not going to hurt you." I soothed and rubbed the top of his back in small circles and keeping my voice low. His body seemed to tense at my touch so I removed my hand from his back and instead stooped to his level and looked down into his eyes.
"Honey, look at me." I whispered and slowly but surely he lifted his head and met my gaze and immediately dropped to the floor in a bowing position. I had forgotten to put my hair back up in a bun so he saw my wavy blue locks and of course my eyes hadn't changed back so they were still glowing purple. He of course knew I am the princess.
"What's your name Hun?" I asked as he slowly stood up keeping his gaze locked to my own.
"Liam, Liam Payne." He whispered quietly but I heard him due to my wolf ears. I smiled and saw his face reflect my own. It is a wolves natural instinct to feel safe in a pack, and that is what we were going to be, a pack.
"Hi Liam, I am Shantal Engman." I smiled widely as we walked out of the cell and towards were our bags were left while Hailey and Louis continued to search the cells.
"You're the Blue Moon Princess." He stated in awe as his hand twirled a piece of my hair. I smiled and let out a small giggle at his pure awe at the fact that he was with me. It was if he had dreamt of this, that's what most fledgling wolves dreamt about at that age.
( Just letting all know that a fledgling wolf is just a wolf that hasn't had it's first transformation yet, that is what Liam is.)
"Yes Liam I am but right now I need you to just help us get out of here okay?" I asked sending Liam my most innocent smile as his face began to reflect fear.
"L-leave? Like runaway?" He stuttered beginning to pull away from me as his eyes widened and fear ran across his every feature.
"Yes, we are going to get away, and I am taking you and any other living wolf in this place with me." I growled feeling angry that this is were Niall is keeping my kind I felt my eyes change once again and this time I didn't know what they were doing, my eyes had only changed to the purple color before so this is new.
"Your eyes are glowing green." Liam said his eyes widening even more if that is even possible. I just shook my head and pulled him to the bags then slung two bags on my shoulders like they were nothing then tossed one at Liam which he slid over his shoulders. Louis and Hailey were next to me in a instant with the others bags on their backs as well, Louis looked at me sadly and I knew that there were no other survivors.
"Let's go now!" I growled as my teeth shot out and began to grow longer than normal and my nails sharpened and grew longer as well. I felt powerful for once I was in control and I wasn't letting this feeling slip past me. I walked quickly towards the female vampire that still sat in a bowing position and grabbed her face lifting her up off the ground and snarling at her from deep within my throat.
"W-what are y-you?" She stuttered grabbing at my hand trying to free her next from my tight grip, to no avail.
"I am the Blue Moon Goodness." I growled making the walls around us shake ever so slightly and the girls eyes widened and she began to say something. I cut her off before she could get a word out and ripped her throat out before dropping her to bleed out in this grimy place. With that we all walked down and to a medium sewage pipe and slowly made our way through the fowl smelling grim not saying a word to each other about what I just did.
"S-Shantal, I smell vampires." Liam stated sticking his nose up and inhaling deeply. I did the same and just as he had said, the smell of vampires swarmed my nose stinging the top of my nose.
"Prepare to fight if it's needed!" I growled and everyone turned getting into fight positions. I was first in the line and I was way beyond pissed at this point.
"Princess, we need you to come back with us or we will force you to." A deep voice echoed through the pipes and I looked closely through the dark until I made out the familiar shapes of Zayn and Harry, two of Niall's vampire guards. Soon about eight more shapes surfaced next to Zayn and Harry all of them reeking of vampire.
"I will not go anywhere with you." I growled and all the vampires stepped forward showing that most of them were of a young age but most likely only looked that way since they were turned at that age.
"King Niall has demanded your hand in marriage and he will marry you if it's the last thing he does." Harry growled his face twisting in anger as he stepped ahead of everyone else and his hands clenched into tight fist.
"You try and take me back there, looks like it will be the last thing YOU do!" I growled and let my anger be released. I felt my body shift and for once the noise that came from it even bothered me. Once my body was fully shifted I looked down in the water and my reflection shocked me. I was a medium sized wolf with DARK DARK blue fur but my eyes were no longer blue, they were now a glowing red that resembled something from a demon move. My teeth were longer and sharper and my ears were bigger and pointed straight up, my tail was longer and plush and every time I moved it a sweep of wind blew past me.
"What the-" Harry was cut of when I lunged at him and knocked him to the ground with one swift hit. I moved on and began ripping and shredding other guards and soon enough I saw a small red wolf and a big black wolf helping me kill. Hailey and Louis. In about 10 minutes all the guards were dead besides Zayn and Harry and Louis, Hailey and I were drenched in a thick layer of blood.
"My Princess is more powerful then I thought." I heard Niall's voice echo to my ears and a shiver ran down my spine, all at once everything stopped. My feet were cemented to the ground and my heart was no longer beating.
"Let's go back home shall we princess?" Niall asked stepping closer to me and still I couldn't move a muscle. And all at once I noticed a huge golden wolf standing in front of me growling and snapping at Niall. Liam was a golden wolf? My mind swirled and thoughts of the history of wolves ran through my mind.
The start of wolves all began with 3 original wolf-bloods. They were all golden wolves and were sworn to protect the Moon Goddess and any of her descendents. Golden wolves were supposed to be extinct a millennium ago though, but now one is here protecting me from my vampire mate. Liam is here protecting me from my vampire mate.
