Blue Moon Goddess

Chapter 9.

I stood rooted to the ground watching as Liam stood in front of me growling and snapping at Niall and it almost made me laugh out loud at the look of fear on Niall's pale face.
"You will get out of my way!" Niall yelled regaining his composure and his face hardened once again. Liam didn't move and instead he growled louder standing tall but still keeping his head down ever so slightly since he was in the presence of the Blue Moon Goddess. My mind reeled and before I knew it Niall had grabbed Liam and pinned him to the ground as he slowly lowered his head towards Liam's furry neck. 
"NIALL!!!" I screamed making Niall jump slightly and turn to look at me. I snarled at him and narrowed my eyes letting him see how angry I was at him. I stepped one foot closer to him and snarled louder, I opened my mouth and let out a throaty growl and snapped my teeth together sending loud echos down the tunnel.
"Oh honey, I know you could never lay a paw on your mate, even after finding out what I did to your little boy toy Alec." His voice held hints of teasing as a smirk passed across his lips tugging them up just slightly. He had crossed the line, he had taken away the one thing that was most important to me and now he has the nerve to tease me about it like this is all some kind of game. Well I refuse to participate in the twisted and cruel game he has in his head.
"I swear I will rip your god damn throat out Horan." I snarled and even laughed slightly when his face twisted in fear before going emotionless again.
"How cute." Niall laughed and turned to stare at Liam who he still had pinned to the ground with his feet. Niall began to say something but was cut off when I did something sup rising, I attacked him. I jumped at him and hit his chest with my front paws and his lower legs with my back paws, shockingly Niall dropped easily. I dropped my butt down on his lower abdomen and used my front paws to pin his arms down and I quickly wrapped my long tail around his legs pinning them together then coiled my tail closer to my body making sure he couldn't move a muscle. I smiled down at him and his face twisted in shock when he realized I was no longer the weak little wolf I was when he first brought me here, I had finally accepted my powers.
"What did you do to yourself?" He asked his eyes finally showing emotion. He looked, worried. Maybe he does care about me, he is a vampire so of course he is cold blooded sometimes but in the long run maybe he really does love me. No I can't think like that, I growled again getting rid of the feelings in my chest. Now was not the time to be acting like a normal girl with stupid emotions.
"I accepted who I am!! This is me, and I am leaving this place!" I growled before leaning down and clamping my jaws around Niall's neck tightly. I closed my eyes and bit down harder till I tasted blood, I focused on sleep and only sleep. The way it feels when your eyes close and suddenly you feel nothing, no pain, no sadness, only peace. I opened my eyes and saw Niall sleeping peacefully under me so I got up and ran to the others making sure they were all safe and UN-harmed.
"Is he dead?" Hailey asked me and I shook my big head no.
"I only made him sleep, we must get out of here now before he awakens." I told them and then turned and ran hearing them following close behind me.
"I see light coming up!" Liam yelled and took off in front of me and out the tunnel into the light. I arrived out right after him and was met with the icy chill of a fresh mountain stream. I dropped in the water and rolled around cleaning myself off so I was once again blue instead of the dirty grimy red of blood.
"So beautiful..." I heard a quiet whisper that sounded like it was from up higher. I looked at the others but they didn't seem to notice and just continued bathing themselves in the now murky red water.
"So perfect.."  I heard the same voice coo and this time I perked my ears and walked towards the voice. I followed a trail of scent until it lead me straight to a large tree with thick branches and many holes where animals most likely used to roost. I bent down before launching myself onto the closest branch then I continued up the branches following the noise. I heard a gasp as I launched myself onto another branch and looked up to see a young girl that looked like she was probably a year older then I was. She had medium length hair that was a light reddish color but her eyes were a deep pool of blue, over all she was beautiful, but she smelled of human blood.
"Who are you?" I asked quietly being careful not to alert the others of a humans presence in this territory.
"My name is Lillee, I new your kind existed." She smiled and her eyes seemed to brighten up the longer she sat there with me.
"My kind?" I questioned her laying down on the thick branch and letting my long legs hang down then I laid my big head down on it's side so I gave off a bored expression.
"Werewolves, others think i'm crazy, so I left and have been living out here, searching for your kind, I don't belong with humans, I belong with you guys." She smiled even brighter when I raised my head in shock at what she had just told me.
"How about you come down and meet my friends Lillee, but don't expect them to speak to you like I do, I am the only one who can do this." I told her then got up and leaped down the from the tree in just one jump which was about a 60 feet drop. Lillee followed and was down from the tree in about 10 minutes of climbing, typical humans can't do anything qiuckly. Once she was down I told her to get behind me and stay there if she wanted to live and she did so quickly as her excited expression turned to slight fear.
"Hey guys we have a stalker." I joked and Lillee laughed quietly behind me but shut her mouth when I shot a glare at her.
"This is a human Shantal, why is she here?" Louis asked me and I just shrugged and moved back to the water and continued bathing while Lillee sat at the edge of the water watching me with a glint in her eyes.
"Hailey bring me the bags with my clothes in them please." I asked and Hailey nodded and ran off to find the bag that was dropped at the end of the tunnels.
"So you can talk to them and me but they can only talk to you?" Lillee asked me curiously and I nodded my head. She pulled out a notebook and began scribbling down stuff then moved on to the next page and began writing once again. Hailey brought back the bag and I got out of the water and grabbed the strap then padded off into the woods. I shifted into my human form and threw on a pair of shorts and a tank top since it was hot outside, I threw my hair up into a messy bun then walked back to the group tossing the bag down next to the others.
"Y-you're a human now!" Lillee practically yelled her eyes wide and gleaming with joy. I smiled at her and looked at the others telling them to follow my lead in shifting. They each grabbed a bag and walked into the trees just like I had and came back in human forms all dressed in summer clothes.
"You see Lillee, we can choose to be wolf of human, normally we would all stay in wolf form but this way we can all speak to you." I told her smiling down at her as she went back to her notebook and starting scribbiling once again. I shook my head with a smile on my face then turned to the group doing a quick check to make sure everyone was here.
"Where's Liam?" I asked after re- counting everyone three times. Right as I asked Liam stepped forward but was still a large golden wolf instead of a well built young boy. I shook my head at him but knew there was no changing his mind, he would protect me with his life as that was his duty.
"Okay we need to get our food out and make sure everyone gets some, we only have a little so not to much since we don't know how long we will be out here without new food. Hailey, Louis get the food, Liam watch the trees, Lillee stay quiet till I say other wise." I told everyone and they nodded then moved off but Lillee stayed where she was and continued writing in her little book. I walked towards the tree line and disappeared into the shadows, I had to make sure that everything was safe enough to sleep here tonight, and from what I was smelling, I am guessing we are going to be moving on real soon.

HARRY's POV~
I watched the group of wolves as they scrambled getting their things ready for the night. The Princess moved off into the woods and the other wolves got their food out then followed behind her quietly probably making sure she was safe. Only one stayed behind from the group and it suprised me that she was unknown to me. Her features caught my eye right away as she was stunning but her blood smelled different, new, pure. I jumped down from my perch on the top of the tree and startled the young girl making her jump and her notebook fell a few feet away from where I landed on the ground. I picked it up and looked inside, there were little doodles around the edges of the pages and each page was filled with information about wolf-bloods. I flipped to the page she had been scribbiling on when I scared her and was suprised when I saw the picture she had drawn. It was of the Princess, it was a blue wolf that slowly shifted into the princesses human state, it show stages of the transfermation and each picture showed more and more of the princesses human figures. Over all it was astounding.
"Beautiful." I stated sending the girl a smile as I passed her notebook back to her and she set it down on the grass next to her.
"Thank you, they really are amazing." She cooed her mind seeming to race off to the thoughts of wolves leaping in a pretty flowery field. Just then I took a deep breath and her scent hit my nose like a ton of bricks sending my teeth into a frenzy as they shot out of my gums. She was human and her blood smelled amazing. Before I could stop myself I leaped at the girl pushing my hand to her mouth to stop her from alerting the others then sinking my teeth into the fabric around her wrist until my teeth entered her porclien skin and her crimson blood slid down my tougne then glided down my throat in a spectacular sensation of butterflies in my whole body, I had never felt something like this before.
"Get off her!" I heard a scream then was ripped off of the girls body and thrown into the air. I turned and landed on my feet easily, I shot one more glance at the girl and saw her eyes were wide as she stared at the fang marks healing over on her wrist. I turned and took off leaving the group in a flurry of anger and confusion. I knew why they were confused, they wanted to know why I would attack a human instead of getting the Princess, they were also angry because they knew the young human only had two choices left after that kind of bite.
Immortality as one of me, or death as a human.

( Oh snap, Harry just bit Lillee and now she only has two choices, she either dies now or lives forever as a vampire. What will the group do with the young girl, but more important what will Lillee decided  to do with her life? )
