Chapter 13.

LILLEE'S POV~
Tears spilled down my cheeks as I watched the group fall into the darkness of the trees, I ran the other way and back into the thickest part of the forest. She said we were a pack, she lied to me because all along all she held a grudge over the fact that I was a vampire. It's not like I chose to be this creature! She left me behind because she wouldn't even let me explain to her what happened back in the woods with Harry.
FLASHBACK (WOODS EARLIER WITH HARRY)
"Will you be mine?" Harry asked me tugging me closer to him if that's even possibe. I thought for a moment and the idea of having a sexy vampire boy to call me own sounded like a great idea for a few seconds. I was about to reply when Shantal popped into my head along with the rest of the pack, they would never let me stay with them if I chose to be with Harry. He was sent to capture all of them again after all.
"Harry, I would love to be yours--" He cut me off and pulled away his face brightened up again and it looked as if he was living once more.
"Great, I have an amazing feeling about us Lillee!" He smiled happily at me which only made me feel worse about what I was about to do to him.
"You didn't let me finish Harry." I said staring down at the ground and his grip on my arms tightened as his whole body tensed up.
"What is there to finish?" He questioned grabbing my chin lightly and making me face him again.
"I can't be yours. It is between you and my pack, and my pack over rules, i'm sorry." I stated and his arms dropped to his side making me feel cold where his arms once held. I saw his eyes start to brim with tears and my heart clutched at the look of sadness crossing his whole face.
"I'm sorry." I stated once again before turning and speeding away as fast as I could, I had heard Shantal's howl and I knew that if I didn't get back soon I would be in some deep trouble.
FLASHBACK OVER~
I ran further into the thickets until I reached a small patch of grass that was opened a little but still closed off by tall trees. I stopped and fell to my knees letting the tears seep out faster and faster as my breathing became irregular and my breathes came out in throaty sobs. I fell from my knees and laid down on the cold grass, I pulled my legs up to my chest to keep me warm since I didn't even have the motivation to unpack my sleeping bag. I buried my face in the ground and cried until sleep finally took over and dragged me down into a nightmare filled sleep.

HARRY'S POV~
I stared down from the tree feeling helpless as Lillee laid there crying to herself until she fell asleep. Her body shook ocassionally from gusts of wind that swept past her but other than that she slept seemingly peaceful. Once I was sure she was fully asleep I dropped down from the tree being as quiet as I could, once I was on the ground I walked over to her and tugged off my jacket, I knew she probably wanted nothing to do with me since it was all my fault that her pack left her behind alone in the woods. I bent down and layed my jacket over her body to keep her slightly warmer as she slept, she stirred in her sleep and her arms clutched onto my jacket as she buried her face into it. Once I knew she was safe and warm enough to sleep I walked slowly towards where I could smell the strong scent of wolves. If it was my fault that they all left Lillee behind then I would do anything to get them to take her back.

SHANTAL'S POV~
I led the pack through the forest following the sound of the river that I could tell was close by. We walked until the moon shone through the tops of the trees and the complaining from everyone else got to be to much.
"My paws hurt!" Hailey yelled for the 8th time since the moon come up and I once again just rolled my eyes and sighed loudly.
"I'm hungry!!" Louis yelled right after and finally I stopped walking and turned to them.
"Fine, we can rest here for the night, Hailey take pot and get some water so we don't have to go back and forth all night." I stated before shifting into my human state right infront of everyone else. Liam turned away quickly and Louis layed down and put his head between his paws which made me laugh. I have to admit I was tired too and I didn't feel like running off behind a tree just to change. I threw on my clothes quickly then walked to my bag, while I dug in my bag for the food Louis and Liam both shifted and put clothes on in about 1 minute. Hailey came back with a pale of water in her hands since she had changed while she was out there, she sent us a quick smile and set the pot on the ground. Everyone gathered around and I started a small fire just enough to keep us warm for the night. We layed down and chewed on the thin pieces of meat to ease our aching stomachs. By the time the fire had almost gone out, everyone was sleeping besides me. I tried to sleep but my mind was set on Lillee, I know what she did was wrong, but I couldn't help but worry about her. Pictures kept flashing through my mind of her scared and alone, huddled by a tree trying to stay warm, tears falling down her face as she sobbed thinking about us all huddled together by a cozy fire. I knew this was all wrong though, she was probably all cuddled up to Harry cozy and warm, sleeping the night away as if we didn't exist.
"You're wrong about what happened you know?" I heard a gruff voice ask from behind me making me turn quickly and look at Harry as he walked closer and closer to me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked trying to keep my breathing from wobbling. I stepped back as he continued to walk towards me as if he wasn't a vampire that had tried to kill me a few nights ago.
"You need to know that Lillee didn't betray you, I dragged her into the woods and asked her to be mine, but she said no. She turned me down because you guys were more important to her." He stated looking to the ground for a minute before looking back at me blinking multiple times to rid his eyes of tears that threatened to fall. I stopped backing up and actually took a step towards him out of shock of what he just told me.
"Really?" I asked looking down at the ground suddenly guilt building up inside of me at my rash decision.
"Yes, and now she is alone in the woods freezing." He growled his eyes turning a darker green with anger. I turned and looked at the others sleeping by the fire then back to Harry, I had no feeling in my stomach like usual when something bad is gonna  happen so I knew that Harry was telling me that truth.
"Liam!" I barked at him making him jolt out of sleep and leap up to his feet in a defence stance right away. He looked over and saw Harry and shifted quickly before jumping infront of me with a look on his face saying he was ready to rip Harry apart. The other two woke up because of Liam's growling and they too shifted and were there to defend me in an instant.
"What?! I wasn't attacking you!!" Harry yelled to me looking at me confused at why I called to Liam when there was no threat towards me.
"Guys stop, he is not here to hurt me!" I yelled and the group stopped growling only slightly but still stared at Harry suspisously.
"Why is he here then?" Louis asked from the side of me not turning his eyes away from the vampire standing defendeless infront of us.
"To tell me about Lillee, I just want you guys to make sure he stays here till I get back got it?" I told them keeping my tone hard and demanding.
"Where are you going?" Hailey asked finally tearing her gaze away from Harry and turning it on me instead.
"To get Lillee back." I stated casually before I turned and walked towards a large tree. I stripped down before shifting then walked back to the group and they all were in the same positions.
"What should we do with him while you are gone?" Liam asked glaring at Harry only making Harry's smirk to grow on his face.
"How about you try being nice to him?" I stated rolling my eyes before I bounded off into the woods following the smell from where Harry had come. I ran until the scent ended in a patch of grass but Lillee wasn't there all though her scent sure was. I sniffed around an area where he scent was strongest and this was probably where she was sleeping, the scent was strong and fresh so she was here not long ago.
"Lillee?!" I howled out and just as I did I heard a branch snap from a tree next to me. I turned and stared at the tree straining my eyes to focus and as they did I saw the figure of a girl sitting in the tree it looked as if she was frightened.
"Lillee, it's just me." I stated quietly keeping my voice low and calm as her body began to relax.
"Shantal?" She questioned as she made her way down from the tree and landed infront of me her body still shaking slightly under the thin pare of pants she was wearing and the long jacket that smelled of Harry.
"What are you doing here?" She asked stepping closer to me as if to make sure it was really me.
"I am here to bring you back, you are part of my pack and I could never just leave you here." I stated and her eyes started watering as she ran to me and wrapped her skinny arms around my furry neck and cried quietly into my fur. I shoved my head a little and lifted her onto me before jumping so she was fully on my back still clutching to my neck for dear life. I ran making sure she was still holding on and before i knew it we were back at the camp with the others. Harry was sitting by the fire with a smile on his face, Louis was next to him in his human form making jokes and cuddling with Hailey and Liam was sat on the other side of the fire staring into the flames looking worried. I turned and went to the tree first and got Lillee off my back before hiding behind the tree and shifting to get dressed. I grabbed Lillee's arm and we walked back to the group with our arms linked together and a smile on my face.
"We are back!" I called as we walked closer to the group and everyone jumped up even Harry.
"You found her." Harry stated breathing out a sigh of relief and sending a small smile at Lillee making her cheeks glow a bright red color. Harry went towards Lillee but I stepped infront of her so he stopped moving and sent me a look of confustion.
"Harry, you are still the enemy, you are still with Niall and wanting to take me back to him." I stated looking at him as his eyes widened.
"No I promise, I won't do anything, I swear." I stammered looking from me to Lillee then back. I walked straight up to him and grabbed his face making him look me dead in the eye. I stared deep into his eyes and saw he was being truthful so I let go of his face and walked to the fire.
"You are telling the truth, so you may stay with us, and you may be with Lillee." I said sending him a smile as both his and Lillee's face lit up happily. Lillee ran over and gave me a big hug which Harry did as well right after Lillee let go of me.
"Not a hugger!" I yelled making him let go of me and making everyone laugh loudly even Liam seemed to loosen up. Everyone gathered around the fire again and started chatting loudly about anything and everything. I would sneek a glance at Lillee and Harry every now and then only to see them snuggled up together as they snuck a kiss every chance they got. For once everyone in the group seemed to be happy together, but only on thing stuck in my mind though. I couldn't tell anyone else in the group what I had smelt out there but one thing was for sure. Niall was on his way, and he was not happy.
