I refused to look at Dan. I'm so stupid. I could tell he wanted to know answers. I'm stupid, stupid, stupid.

I had to look, I wanted to see his expression. The boys were engrossed with their phones, typing away however, Dan was looking outside the window, clearly in his own mind. Maybe he had a story too. I thought to myself. Suddenly he looked at the driving mirror, making eye contact with me. It was like he heard me. I shifted my gaze to the front. Dan returned the the same position he was before. This is so awkward.

"Here we are" I said, turning off the ignition before opening the door and standing outside.

The boys grabbed their bags one by one while I unlocked the house door. They came inside.

"Wow, this place is amazing." Woody muttered however it was loud enough for me to hear.

The door lead into the living room. There is a small fire place at one end of the room which is surrounded by a small midnight colour sofa. Opposite to the fire place is a 49 inch tv which is attached to the baby blue coloured wall. In front of the TV is a small coffee table surrounded by sofas in a U shape. Underneath the TV is a small stand where all the films, music CDs, are placed which is neatly decorated with small indoor plants. The floor colour is a nice ashy wood, the colour of bark. There are pictures which cover the walls, one picture is a beautiful sunset, another is a figure dancing in the rain with the Effie tower in the background. There is one window which overlooks the main road. At the back of the room is a grand staircase leading upstairs.

"I already love it here!" Kyle exclaimed, sitting and making himself comfortable.

"Ky, get up I need to show your guys room."

Upstairs, the bedrooms were lined one by one and the bathroom was at the end. I already spent yesterday tidying up the rooms so it was at least presentable. Each room is painted a different wall colour however, the rooms are identical to one another. Everyone picked their own rooms; Woody picked he first room, Kyle picked the second room, Will and then Dan and lastly my room was at the back. They all started to unpack in their own rooms and I decided to go around asking if any one needed help.

"Woody, do you need help?" I asked after I knocked on the door.

"No thanks!" He replied.

"Will, need any help?" I offered, also knocking on his door.

"Yes please, I've seemed to ran out of hangers, have you got any spare?"

"Yeah let me get them"

I quickly went and got them from the storage room. I left them in his room as he was busy folding his clothes. I also asked Kyle if he needed help but he said that he didn't. Now I had to ask Dan. I stood by his door for what seemed like two hours before I finally got the courage to knock. Your worthless, be kind for once. My brain argued back.

"D-do you need any help?" I stammered, pulling the sleeves of my hoodie down. An old habit of mine when I'm nervous.

"Umm... yes, can you help me put these pictures up." He replied, without even turning around to look at me.I slowly made my way towards him. Will he ask questions? What should I say?

"What should I do?" I ask as calmly as I could. Which didn't sound that calm as my voice went high pitched. Can I be anymore embarrassing.

"Can you put blue-tack on these pictures, I will do the rest." He turns around and smiles. Oh god his smile. I pick up the bunch of pictures and begin to help. However, being the nosy person I am, i take a good while staring at the pictures. There are pictures of his parents, sister, the boys and some other friends.

"I see you like the pictures." He says, smirking. Oh shit. He must have notice me looking at them. I can feel myself going red.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" I blurted.

"It's cool, don't worry, I don't mind." He says laughing. Oh god his laugh. I finish the last picture and feel my self cooling. Why does he have this effect on me?

"Thank you for helping." He says, smiling even wider than before.

"It's okay." I mutter before I begin walking towards the door.

"Ellie." He pauses, making me turn around, "I'm here to help you, you can talk to me whenever you want." He continues. I mumbled a thank you before I left to go to my own room. If only it was that easy.
