Slave to the white man

Whipping my back is an injustification

I don't want to pick cotton in your plantation

Your hatred of me is bitter discrimination

Is it 'cause I'm African, Mexican, or 'cause I'm Haitian?

You think my skin color makes me an abomination

You wish me hell fire and eternal damnation

Slaves in the South, it's sweeping the nation

To be free, we take the railroad of immigration

Freedom is such a sweet temptation

But you set my life on a detention

I bring but one question to realization

Why disciminate just 'cause we're not Caucasian?
