A Hero; A Soldier

(A/N: I'm mailing this to my cousin in war, could you readers comment and tell me if you think he'll like it)

Soldier guard me through the night

I want to see the morning light

You put my life before your own

Protecting our country is how it's shown

Gun's, bullet's, fighting in war

Don't know if you'll be back anymore

You doubt yourself albeit your win

If you could choose you would have been:

Still fighting for us everyday

Protecting your family in an honorable way

Keeping us in a safe haven

Hiding in the night, as dark as the raven

So, don't doubt whats now your duty

Think of your home, think of the beauty

Think of the people you do protect

And when you come home, you can reflect

All that's good inside your life

Not the painful war memory's or the strife

Come home safe, come home soon

Where you can walk on beaches like they have in cancun
