~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW:
They said that things happen for a reason, and right now, Kronos wants to know the reason why he pushed the door open and how he came to meet someone he doesn't want see again. He doesn't hate the boy, far from it. He is just scared that seeing the boy will bring unwanted memories to him. He is healing and forgetting, not reminiscing. The boy may have been just a small part of his painful past, but that doesn't change the fact that he was a part of something he wanted to forget.
Kronos felt his hands trembling "H-how?" He whispered while stepping back
Perseus, for the first time in a month showed an emotion. It was of pure shock and surprise. He didn't speak; he only stared at the Titan with wide eyes. Percy trying to find his voice that has been lost for a month said "K—" he cut off, feeling his throat explode in pain. He hadn't spoken in a month, hasn't eaten nor drink. It's a miracle he can stay upright.
Kronos, now noticing the appearance of the hero, could only gape with horror and shock. The hero was very thin, so thin that Kronos could see his bones underneath his skin. His skin was so pale compared to his once tanned skin from when he last saw him. His lips were dry and chapped. His once bright sea green eyes that remind Kronos of the ocean now look so dark that it was almost not green. Kronos noticing the pain in the hero's eyes immediately went for the table which has the hero's food for the day.
He picked up the glass of water and helped the hero sit upright, since he was crouching in pain. Percy was encasing his throat and he seems like he was trying to minimize the pain.
"Here" Kronos said while pushing the glass up into the hero's open lips.
Percy hungrily gulped as much water as he can "Ho—" Kronos cut his question off, looking away from the hero who was still drinking.
Looking at the hero in front of him, he can't help but asked himself. What happened to make the once mischievous and cocky hero like this? Kronos spied the hero who had finished drinking with calculating eyes, looking at him in closer inspection, the boy really do look like his son Poseidon. He felt his eyes tearing up at the memory of his children looking at him with hate and disgust when they first fought in the First Titan War. As a father, he never wanted to have his children looked at him like that. He never wanted to cause them harm, but because of his weakness, he did the one thing that he didn't think he would do to his children. Trying to kill them.
Kronos was so busy reminiscing his painful past, that he hadn't noticed that tears were spilling out of his golden eyes. Kronos also failed to notice the look the hero was giving him. It was of pure wonder and surprise. I mean, it's not every day you witness the Titan of Time crying.
Kronos was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a hand wiping away his tears; he looked down at the hero with surprised eyes "Why are you crying? Are you okay?" The hero asked him with a bit of difficulty in his voice, it was still a bit scratchy, but it was better than before.
Kronos immediately brought his hands up to wipe the tears that unconsciously spilled out of his eyes. He was still looking at the hero in front of him with surprise. Was the hero worried about him? Even with the surprise and doubt of the hero mocking him, Kronos felt his lips quirking a little bit. His grandson may be one of the most selfless person he has ever met in his entire Titan life. He had tried to kill the boy once and yet, here he is. Not even wary of Kronos holding him close. Also adding the fact that the boy was worried about why he was crying. Him... him of all people should hate Kronos, for Kronos had taken so many precious people away from him. But here he is, asking if the Titan was okay and why he was crying.
