ARTEMIS

I watched with curiosity and eagerness as the man before me grasp both side of his hood

"I heard that you defended my honor, M'Lady. And for that, a thank you would not be enough"

"Wha—"

My eyes slowly widened when he slowly lowered it down. My breath coming to a complete halt.

I watched as I first saw the unruly dark messy locks that could only belong to him, then it was like a slow motion as his eyes came into view.

His eyes were like the ocean, just as it should be. A deep swirling sea-green that seems to shift every few seconds to a blue-green, resembling the sea as it gently lapped against the waves.

The man whom I thought was dead... the man whom I thought I failed to save from my once wrathful father was standing before me. Alive and looking at me with bright eyes.

"I'm back"

I gasped and bolted up of my bed. Wait... bed?

I looked around and saw that I was in some unfamiliar room. The wall was a vibrant colour of blue with a bit of sea-green here and there, matching the carpet and the entirety of the room. Their were many pictures and notes hanging from the wall, sea shells neatly arranged at the top of the bookshelves, and a neatly arranged weapons on the far side of the room.

I looked down on the sheet wrapped around me and sighed.

What the hell? Why did I have that kind of dream?

In the first place, Gods don't dream. They were the one who gives the dream, not the other way around.

I'm going to maul Morpheus once I get out of this bed!!

The door opened and I snapped my head up and saw Apollo leaning on the door looking at me with concern "You okay, sis?"

"Apollo" I sighed again and rubbed a hand over my face "I had the craziest dream. Perseus made a bargain with me about revealing who he was and who his companions are. Zoe and Bianca turned out to be alive along with your son Micheal and then... and then... Percy was alive. He was standing in front of me. He was smiling and grinning, saying that he was back"

I could feel my eyes watering, and my hands clenching into fists "I-I... damn it!! Why are the fates this cruel? Making me dream about them being alive. There's a limitation to how you can play with people!! I know that I failed to save them, but they didn't have to rubbed salt into the wound. I'm a failure, I had come into terms with that a long time ago. Why did they have to punish me by making me dream of that?! If they want to hear me say sorry of how I failed, then I'm sorry, okay?! I'm sorry I was too slow to stop their deaths. I'm sorry— sorry for everything that I've done... just please—"

I didn't even realized that I was crying until I felt Apollo hugged me "Shh... it's alright, sis. Don't blame yourself for what happened. You did your very best to save them, it's just... it was just their time to go. We can't do anything about that. Besides, I also failed to stop Percy's death, right? Don't beat yourself just because of that. You're stronger than that."

I clung to him and cried. I hate this. I rarely show my brother this side of me. This side that makes me appear weak.

I heard the door open and looked up from my twin's chest to see a back of a man turned, holding something in his hands. I gasped as he turned around to face us
