THIRD PERSON POINT OF VIEW
Percy sighed and looked up in the skies with exasperation. Why did he agree to do this?
Oh yeah, because Artemis was being immature and he needed to be the mature one. And also maybe he needed to teach the hunters a lesson.
He felt a dull throb in his chest and he went to rubbed it. He frowned when the feeling suddenly vanished. It was a fleeting moment and he dismissed it instantly.
Percy thought of his conversation with Artemis and a scowl made its way on his face

"The moment they catch you before you can return to the clearing will be the moment you lose. Remember no fighting back, only running." Artemis stated while looking at Percy with a grin
Percy sighed and rubbed the tension out of his brow "And please remind me on why I should agree to letting the hunters hunt me like I'm some kind of monster?"
"The hunters do not believe that you are better than them. They do not want you to be their guardian, much less their protector. My hunters are prideful and the only way to get through them is when you show them who is stronger" Artemis explained, looking pained when she said that
Percy raised a brow at her "You are true on the part that they are prideful. They are your hunters, after all. But... do you really think that me beating them will result to them liking me? They would feel insulted Artemis. A man beating them? Do you seriously think that it would make them happy to admit that I beat them? Would they feel ecstatic that a man outrun them and beat them? I may not be able injure them physically, but to know the fact that they didn't even catch me would damage their pride"
Percy was close to snapping. Six weeks— it has been six weeks since Percy came and became the hunters' guardian. At first it was tolerable— the pranks, the jeers and the insults. But since Percy was also a prince, he also needed to do the works that he brought along on Earth. The works that needed to be done despite his busy schedule. He had been contacting the Titans and Primordials via neroú (water communication) to at least keep himself updated on what was happening back there
The hunt had been attacked thrice, and he was the one who took care of most of them. The attacks was coordinated, seeing as not many monsters can corner and surprise the hunt thrice. He tried telling the hunters to be more careful, but they were being stubborn and refused to listen to him. He was exhausted because of being on constant alert, and trying to deal with the hunters.
The hunters and the works as a prince and a guardian... and the war was weighing him down. He was feeling a lot more stress since knowing of what End was going to do. The hunters being immature brats was not helping
Artemis frowned at Percy, not liking his tone "While what you said is true, my hunters aren't the type of women who would act like a child throwing a tantrum if they lose. You just have to agree to my idea and everything might change, Perseus"
Percy stared with disbelief "Are you fucking kidding me right now?"
"Language, Perseus" Artemis snapped
Percy stood up from his seat and paced in front of Artemis; carding his hand through his hair "Artemis, your plan is a bad idea. A very bad idea. One of the worst that I've ever heard in my lifetime. If I give permission to the hunters to let them do what they want, they would surely maim me. They would not hesitate to shoot me down before I can even get the word 'start' out of my lips"
