Chapter 21

-Your POV-

Last night Levy insisted on having a Christmas party, and she demanded that I look nice. She spent 45 minutes doing my makeup, and then another 30 doing my hair. But anyways, not important. I had a hard time falling asleep last night because of the one thing on my mind; he kissed me.

Its been playing over and over again in my mind ever since. I cant think straight and I walk into walls. Maybe it shouldn't be such a big deal since we're dating, but thats the thing; Im dating Natsu Dragneel. The Natsu Dragneel. The guy who can tease me one second and make me blush to no ends the next.

Even though we're on winter break, Natsu and the guys still have basketball practice. He's been staying here a lot lately, not that I mind or anything, but its almost like he moved in. His parents dont seem to mind since he goes there every so often, and Natsu likes being away from his brother Zeref as much as possible anyways. Romeo loves it because he has someone to play video games with. So its like a win-win, right?

The only downfall, is that I constantly have to go shopping for food. No I dont have a job, but I dont need one. After our parents moved Romeo and I back to Fiore, they realized that they still have to travel a lot for work. So they go around wherever and left me with a debit card to pay the bills and buy food with that they put money on. Of course we miss them, but theres not much we can do, they said they'll try to be home for the holidays, but theres not guarantee.

2 Weeks until Christmas, and me being the procrastinator that I am, I waited until now to do my shopping. I decided that on this lovely Sunday morning, I would do some online shopping. I sat in the chair that had the back of it facing the door, of course I had a blanket and coffee with me as well. Using my laptop, I began searching. I needed to find something for my parents, Romeo, Natsu, and Levy. We decided to do a secret santa instead of buying gifts for everyone, and I got lucky enough to pull Levy's name.

I hadn't realized how long I was trying to shop until Natsu walked through the door. "(Y/n), Im home!" I said kind of loudly, I guess he didn't see me sitting in the living room. I closed my laptop which got his attention. "Hey, there you are" he gave one of his smiles that just made it seem like nothing could go wrong.

As he stepped closer I could smell his awful body oder. "Ew, you're all sweaty. Go take a shower"

"Are you sure you don't want a hug first~?" His smiled was replaced with a mischievous grin. He held his arms out and stepped closer, I got out of the chair so I wouldn't trap myself and took a few steps back.

"Dont even think about it Dragneel, go take a shower"

"Oh come on, just one hug~?" Two more steps.

"Dont. You. Dare." Three steps back. I was running out of room.

"What? All I want is a hug from my amazing girlfriend after a long practice" One step. His voice was taunting.

"Fine, but after you take a shower" One step. Wall. Crap.

His smirk grew. "I dont think thats up to you anymore (n/n)" My eyes darted from him to anywhere around the room. I had three feet between us. That what enough room, right? Screw it. I ran with the little space there was. Or should I say, I tried to run. I took about two steps before Natsu had my arm and my nose was in his chest.

"Natsuuuu let go!! You smell! Go take a shower!!" I squirmed while trying to free myself from his grasp. You would think that I would've learn by now that trying to fight against him only makes him hold on tighter. Which he did.

"But (Y/nnnnnnn), I just want a hugggggg"

"And you got a hug, okay?? Pleaseeeee let go???"

"Mmmmmmmmm," He squeezed tighter. "fineeee" then let go.

"Great, now I have to take a shower too" I mumbled to myself. Natsu had the biggest smile on his face. I glared at him and pushed him towards the bathroom. "Shower. Now."

"Y'know, you're really cute when you pretend to be mad at me" he chuckled while standing in the door frame with his arms crossed, looking at me.

I felt the blood rush to my cheeks. I didn't know what to say either. So I pushed him into the bathroom and pulled the door shut. I could still hear him laughing even with the door separating us, he was probably enjoying the flustered look that was plastered on my face. Once I heard the water running, I left to my room to take a shower as well.

About 20 minutes later, I was walking back downstairs with a towel, drying off my hair. I put on a pair of black leggings and an oversized grey long sleeve. Natsu was on the couch, but he was... Shirtless..? What?

"Uh, Natsu? How are you not freezing??" When I walked in the room, I could only really see his shoulders. Now, he was standing and I could see his perfectly toned body.

"Hm? Its not cold" he put his phone away in his sweat pants pocket.

"S-Still," I crossed my arms. "at least put a shirt on"

That smirk. Its like it never leaves his face. "Why? Is this too distracting for you?" He said in a teasing way while running his hand down his chest and across his abs.

I wasn't giving his that satisfaction. Yes I was blushing but it was only slightly, but it was enough for him. I took the towel I was using earlier to dry my hair and I threw it at him. I couldn't help but giggle at the expression on his face when the towel fell. "You could've avoided all of this if you would've just put a shirt on"

He had this look in his eyes, like he was looking for revenge. So, I did the only smart thing I could think of, I walked into the kitchen. Maybe not the best idea. The thing is with Natsu, is that he can be extremely sneaky when he wants to be. One second I was walking towards the cabinet to get a cup, the next I was inches away from his chest with the towel pulled around my waist keeping me where I was.

"Y'know (Y/n), that wasn't very nice of you" He wasn't mad. No, he was definitely teasing me. I could tell by the tone of his voice. I didn't have anywhere to go or anywhere to look except up at him. When he 'captured' me with the towel and pulled me closer, my hands fell on his chest and stayed there. I hadn't realized they were there until he had said something about it. "Your hands are cold, are you nervous or something?" Again, he was taunting me. It had basically turned into his new hobby.

"N-No..." Damnit, like that could ever be believable. Its not only the fact that I had stuttered or that I was crazy blushing, but my heart was going a million miles a second and I couldn't think straight.

He was close, extremely close. And he was only getting closer. He was inches, and then centimeters away from my face, and then his lips landed on my nose. "You're so cute when you're flustered (n/n)" Thats the last thing he said before he left and sat back on the couch. He didn't use his teasing voice, it was just his normal voice. Natsu wanted 'revenge' for me throwing a towel at him, so he teased me. Sometimes he acts like a little kid, I swear.

Now its my turn. If he wants to tease me and make me blush or get super flustered, fine. But one of these days I will find a way to make him feel like that. Game on Dragneel. Watch your back.
