1965.
"Johnny.."
The tone of my voice was slightly weak. We were currently hanging out at my house for a moment, but it unfortunately turned out to be more than a "little" while.
My hands grasped the collar of his jean jacket as he began to eye me down. "What?" I asked. He responded with a bright smile. A smile I've never seen from him before. "I'm just so glad that we're finally together," he started. "It's just, it's just that no one has ever treated me like you do." After saying those words to me, I grinned.
I leaned in closer to him, our lips a few inches apart from one another. Closing my eyes, I felt his warm lips dance along with my own. This boy made me feel as if my world was just so complete. As if he were a one drug I needed in my entire life.
He then pulled away from me with a small smile formed onto his now-wet lips. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he placed his own arms on the small of my waist. I kissed his nose and gazed deeply at him.
"Te amo, Johnny Cade."
"I love you too, Elizabeth Castro."
And like that, our relationship grew as the flower..
