Tom Odell - Heal
I went to lie down, but my rest was interrupted by Jade, she opened my eyes physically and shook me until I woke up.
"Come on," she said, "Did you think that was all for fun?" I rolled over and ignored her, but she shrugged and left. Not a moment later Terence came into my room.
"Didn't you just leave this place?"
"Well now I'm back." He said, but even he didn't really sound like he knew why he was back.
"Why did you come here, Terence?"
"Your sister, June, she called me." He said. He was carrying me around, I was too tired. Sometimes I thought the boy was on steroids.
"Why did she call you?"
"She's worry about you Jazz. She said you were wondering around in the kitchen making a noise, and when she came down you were looking for painkillers. Are you going through something again?"
"Why are you asking me this?"
"You're not the only one who need closure."
"No." I lied defensively. "Everybody gets headaches when their braids are old."
He rolled his eyes. "I guess I wouldn't know." He said while running his fingers through his hair.
"You're lucky in a way. I do braids as a protective hair style, I mean they're nice, but they aren't my favourite things in the world."
"If your hair needs protection, why don't you just put a condom over your head?"
"Because they don't make condoms that big."
"Well you could always use one of mine, sure they'll be space, but that's not important." He smirked.
"How does everything always manage to become about sex with you?"
"Well I am a sex god." He said while raising his head. Cool winds blew from the window and his hair fell back and he looked magnificent. He truly was a sex god, probably. But I'd never tell him that, how would I know.
"Some sex god, you won't even give me the time of day."
"You made that decision, babe. At any time imaginable, I'm ready."
"What about right now?"
"I've got like five condoms in my back pocket." he started speaking before I'd even finished my sentence.
"You're gross," I teased.
"Rather gross than someone's daddy."
"You're my daddy." I smirked from inside his arms.
"Damn straight." He said as he threw my over his shoulder and carried on walking down the sairs. We were there in no time really. He opened the door as though he lived there and took me to the kitchen where I saw both of my sisters sitting by the counter on bar stools.
"Thank you, Terence." They said simultaneously. He nodded and went to fetch himself some water to drink.
"Jasmine," started Jade. "We're worried about you, Jade and I. I don't know if you know this, but I locked your door because I didn't want you to leave the house, not because I wanted you to scramble out of the window like some sort of bandit."
"I was against the locking because I felt you had some sense," said June. "I'm not saying I'm wrong because you've probably justified this pretty well in your head, but to us, the outside parties, it was a pretty dumb move."
