The date had gone all right, but it was incredibly awkward. I think Colin liked Rachel a whole lot more than Rachel liked Colin. I sure liked David but I don’t know what he thinks about me. Alex looked pleased when I told him about how awkward the date was.

It’s been a about two days, and right now I’m pacing the house listening to a lady go on and on about how her daughter is turning six soon and how she just adored the Disney Princesses on the phone. I’m able to tune out all of the excess information other than how long she wants me to be at the party and what princess she wants me to be.

“Do you have another person who can help out?” She asks, and I assume she wants two princesses. I inform her that I do, indeed, but it will cost extra per person she wants. You know, because they oughta get paid for the time they spent at a six year olds birthday party.

She ends up ordering The Musical Experience package and asking for three Frozen characters to be present at the time of the party. Elsa, Anna, and Kristof, she had said. So I’m probably going to have to go see it and look up how to do our hair like them on YouTube.

“Rachel!” I shout, setting off to find her, needing her assistance as Anna. I’ll talk to Colin later about being Kristof. I walk into her room, hoping she’s in there, but what I find isn’t just Rachel sitting on her bed, it’s Alex and Rachel, their lips intertwined and his hands tangled in her hair.

Before I can even get over my shock the words, “WHAT THE HELL, RACH?” are flying out of my mouth as I storm over to pull them apart. Her big blue eyes widen and Alex just stares at me, out of breath.

“Alex,” I say, trying to stay calm, “I’m gonna need you to leave.”

He be to protest, “Sie-”

“NOW!” I bark and he scurries out of Rachel’s room faster than a bat outta hell. I inhale a massive breath and begin to speak, “You could’ve told me, Rachel.”

“I thought you’d react like-”

I cut her off, “like I did? I would not have been so angry if you had just told me! How long have you been sneaking around with my brother my back?”

She gulps, “Since October twenty second 2012...”

“YOU’VE BEEN DATING HIM FOR OVER A YEAR?” I shout, suddenly infuriated. I debate on what to say for a few seconds before giving her a death glare and turn around and walk away. If I wasnt careful some serious choice words would be flying out of my mouth and nobody wants that at all.

“I’m going for a run,” I announce to no one in particular. “I’ve gotta clear my head.” After I get my headphones set with my running playlist going, I head outside.

Rachel has been dating Alex since October 22nd and it’s December 15th... thats been 420 days that they’ve both been hiding this from me. Am I mad that she’s dating Alex? Absolutely not. Am I mad neither of them bothered to tell me? Absolutely. Plus, it makes me realise that Alex didn’t come down to Indiana just to see his little sister. He came down to see his little sister’s best friend, his secret girlfriend.

The more I think about it, the angrier I get. Rachel had the audacity to date my bloody brother and not even tell me? What kind of person does that? Has Paisley been hiding something like that from me? Nah, cause she’s got Spencer and I don’t have another sibling for her to date. I don’t even want to go home at this point.

It’s been about an hour that I’ve been running and I’ve stopped to catch my breath. I’m bent over, hands on my knees, taking in massive breaths. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I gasp. “Sienna?” As soon as I realise who it is, I begin to run again. I was in no mood to deal with my brother. He matches my pace easily and that makes me even more annoyed. Finally I stop running and yank my headphones out of my ears.
