Two Average Girls (Lapidot) DISCONTINUED!!!

Chapter 3: You?!?!

  It was Peridot.

  Jasper lowered her hand to see who was there, but laughed at the sight. What's so intimidating about a short, triangle-haired nerd?

  "Well, well, well! Look who we have here, a small runt! What are you gonna do runt? Call me a clod?" Jasper teased.

  Peridot stiffened, you could tell that she hadn't really thought what she was going to say through. "N-no! I... umm..." Peridot mumbled.

  Lapis looked at Peridot with a straight face and internally face palmed. Oh great, dorito head is gonna save me. Whoop-dee-doo.

  Peridot just stood there, almost like she was going to say an awesome burn, but just looking at Jasper scared her so much that she lost the courage to say it.

  Jasper's grasp on Lapis grew looser, she really wanted to beat Peridot up right now for one: interfering with business she had with Lapis, and two: betraying her and joining those stupid Crystal Gems.

  Peridot steped back a little, and made some kind of signal with her hand. And as if they were just standing there waiting for it, three girls came out from the bushes, (oh look! The rest of the Crystal Gems!) one was smaller and thicker, her name was Amythst. The next girl was very pale, and was like a human stick, her name was Pearl. And finally a girl named Garnet came out too, she was very tall and had very curly hair that was almost square shaped. They must have become Peridot's friends over the summer, because last year they absolutely hated her!

  "So I see you brought some backup Perisnot! To weak to fight on your own huh? What happened to your dignity? Well whatever I can take all of you anyways!" Jasper practically growled. She droped Lapis to the ground and lunged at Peridot. But luckilky Peridot jumped out of the way, and Jasper landed on the ground face flat. A few seconds later Jasper got up and made what sounded like a battle cry. This time she lunged at Garnet, who took a punch to the gut, but didn't even flinch. Garnet then pinned Jasper to the ground while Pearl and Amythst helped teach Jasper not to mess with anybody.

  Peridot ran towards Lapis, taking her hand and dragging her to a nearby school bus. They hopped on and went to the back of the bus. Lapis was very shocked and confused at what just happened. Did Doritohead just help save me from Jasper?!?!

  They both sat in silence for a while, until Lapis finally said, "Thank you." She seemed like she really didn't want to say it, but she knew that she should at least be a little nice to Peridot after all that.

  "Oh um... you're welcome. But you should probably thank Garnet, Pearl, and Amythst... they actually helped you." Peridot said sadly. You could tell from the way her eyes looked she felt like she didn't do enough.

  Lapis saw the way she looked and swallowed her pride and said, "No, you did plenty, you got her to drop me and slam her face onto the ground."

  Peridot almost bursted with happiness, she was so glad to hear that Lapis actually appreciated what she did. She was about to ask Lapis if they could be friends, but she thought it wasn't the best time for that. Besides, she could ask tomorrow or the day after. So insteadthey talked about some things, like class, and some dumb assignments they both have to do.

*Time skip!

  After a while the bus came to a stop and Lapis said, "I should get off now. Thanks Peridot. You really stuck up for me today." And so she walked to the front of the bus, but before she got off she looked back and smiled at Peridot. Peridot gave a toothy smile back and waved. Lapis waved back and finally got off. Hmm... maybe Peridot isn't that bad. She thought as she got off the bus. Peridot watched her walk from the window by her seat and thought, Maybe Lazuli is warming up to me!

Well I hope you guys like this chapter! I wanted to at least have Lapis be somewhat cool with Peri by the end. 😊😊😊 I will try to make this book really long, because who likes short Lapidot fanfics? 😂 I'll also try to write the chapters close together, because I hate when I wait like 14 years to have chapter lol.
