Two Average Girls (Lapidot) DISCONTINUED!!!

Chapter 10:

Peridot was awoken by a large slam. Must be "Mommy Dearest" she thought. It seemed that she was back from her business trip already.
"PERRRIDOTT!!!" Her mother shouted. You could clearly tell that she was drunk. She got up and went downstairs to see what her her mother wanted. Her mother was on the floor with a bottle of very expensive champagne.
"Hellllpp!!! I have fallen... and can't get up!" Her mother laughed at her stupid reference to a commercial she saw. Peridot pulled her up.
"Ok, I'm going to take you to your room now." Peridot grumbled.
"N-no! I wanna stay down... here!" Her mother stuck her tongue out at her daughter like a small child.
"Fine, but I'm laying you on the couch." Her daughter said, nodding her head.
"Mmmkay!" Said the older one.

*Time skip!

When Peridot's alarm went off, they both groaned and got ready for school. As they headed downstairs for some breakfast, Peridot noticed that her mother wasn't on the couch anymore. She must have awoken and went to work.
"Hey Lapis?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you wake up at all last night?"
"No, why would I?"
"N-nothing, It's just that my mom came back, and she was super drunk. I didn't want you to have to hear or see anything I guess..." Peridot said while scratching her neck.
"Oh..." Lapis sighed.
They finished up and headed to school. They didn't talk on the way. It was just silent. But they both were thinking about heavy stuff. Lapis was thinking about what was bothering Peridot so much, Maybe it's her mother? No, that doesn't sound right. It has to do with her bullies. That's when she cried after all. Hmm...
Peridot was thinking about lots of things really, there was Lapis, her mother, Jacob (that asshole. Yeah. Him.😑), and Jasper. After their little "encounter" what was to be expected from her at school?
As they arrived at school, they were greeted by Amethyst, Pearl, and Garnet.
"Yo P-dizzle, WHY DO YOU LOOK SO SAD?!?!" she lifted Peridot up in a big hug.
"You can put me down now." Peridot sighed. You could see the aggravation on her face. It was slightly more mean looking than usual.
Pearl pushed Amethyst away from Peridot and said, "Excuse her. You know she can get a little too touchy." She frowned at Amethyst and turned to Lapis.
"Hello Lapis, how are you?"
"I'm fine." Lapis mumbled.
"Ugghhhhh!!! Both of you are in a sad mood!!! Don't you two know how to be happy?" Amethyst groaned. Finally Garnet just picked her up and set her to the side.
The bell ringed and they all walked to their respective classes.

*ANOTHER Time skip!

Lapis and Peridot successfully made it through the day without getting their faces beaten in by Jasper. In fact, it seemed to them that Jasper hadn't even gone to school that day. But that scared them, because they knew that when Jasper wasn't at school, she was usualy jumping some kid in an alley. So to keep safe, they took the bus to their own houses instead of walking. 
When Lapis got home, she wasn't greeted by anyone, not even her kind mother or silly little sister. Something was wrong, so she decided to search the area to make sure that nothing had happened to them. She went to the kitchen, but didn't find them. She went to each of their bedrooms, not there either. Then finally she got to her bedroom, where she found a note on her blue desk.
Hey Lapis, It read, we have gone out for the night, and we figured that you didn't want to babysit so we left your sister at Grammy's house. There is leftovers from last night that you can eat. We should be back around 1am, so don't get into any trouble. -Mom and Dad
Lapis definitely didn't mind not having to babysit, so she decided to take some time to herself. She drew an nice and warm bubble bath, threw in some cool bath bombs that were homemade, and put on her favorite music.
  As she began to slip into the tub, there was a knock at the door. She groaned, put on a robe, and answered the door.
It was Jasper.

But anyways, I hope you still liked it! And also I'm very sorry I haven't updated lately, school sucks lol. I should be able to update soon, maybe next week (although I am not sure), so yeah...
