Chapter 4: Friends

The second day of school wasn't as bad as the first day. Although, Peridot was a little creepy and followed Lapis during lunch.
As Lapis was walking through the lunch line, Peridot steped behind her, and ordered the same thing as Lapis. This made Lapis uncomfortable and angry, so she decided to say something.
"What are you doing?!" She whisper screamed to Peridot.
Peridot tensed up, almost like Lapis' words made her scared. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!" She whisper screamed back.
Lapis scoffed and said, "Yeah, ok. You know I can see right?"
"W-well you have eyes made for that purpose." Peridot said while slightly blushing.
Lapis sighed an angry sigh and walked off to sit at a table alone, but Peridot followed and sat in front of her. Lapis made an agitated face and gave Peridot a death glare. Peridot stared back, but it wasn't a death glare, it looked like she was looking at Lapis' features. Lapis couldn't really blame her, she WAS pretty hot, but that wasn't the point.
"Will you stip staring at me like that?!" She finally said after she had had enough. Peridot didn't react, she just kept staring.
"Are you deaf or something?" Lapis said while waving her hand in front of Peridot's face. "Hello?!"
Peridot came back to life. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I-I..." she said while her face turned bright red.
Damn it, if she didn't have such a cute face I'd- WAIT, DID I JUST SAY SHE'S CUTE?!?!
Lapis' face went bright red as well, and they sat there in an awkward silence for awhile, until Peridot finally said something. "D-do you wanna be f-friends?" Her face seemed to get even more red, if that was even possible.
Lapis thought for a moment, did she want this weirdo dor a friend? What if she turned out to be like Jasper? Although she had gone out of her way to help save her from Jasper, when really she didn't need to. The answer seemed clear, but she couldn't say it for some reason. Was it her pride?
"Well?" Peridot squeaked. Lapis just nodded, because her mouth seemed to be paralyzed. "Yay! I knew you'd come around!" Peridot said a little to loud, seeing as how the entire cafeteria stared at her. Lapis grumbled and started eat her lunch.

*Time skip!

As Lapis' last class finished, and she walked out, she was greeted by a familiar tiny blonde. "You wanna hang out at my place? Or we could go to your place if you'd like!" She had a big smile on her face, and there seemed to be stars in her eyes. Lapis grumbled and thought, she's like a puppy begging for a treat! Ughhhh...
"Fine, we can go to your place." She said without any emotion.
They headed to Peridot's house, which was a two bedroom, two story home that was painted light yellow, like daisies. The inside was almost the same, every room was that same color except fot Peridot's room, which was bright green. Her bed was covered in alien stuffies, but the coolest thing about her room was that she just had robots lying around. "Robonoids" were what she called them, and they did various tasks.
"Wanna play a game?" Peridot asked after she saw Lapis was done looking around.
"Sure, what do you wanna play?" Lapis asked.
"Why don't we play truth or dare?" Peridot suggested while staring at Lapis with a smile.
