There was only a few days until summer would end, and Lapis was not as excited to go back to school as most girls her age. Last year had been very hard. She had dated a girl named Jasper, who was a very large and muscular girl that had bright orange hair. Jasper had not been the loving girlfriend that Lapis had hoped she would. She would emotionaly and physically hurt Lapis, and only cared for her own needs. Lapis broke up with Jasper on the last day of school and has not seen Jasper at all this summer and doesn't know how this year will be. Would Jasper hurt her and torture her as she did last year? There was no way to tell, and Lapis being the quiet and somewhat shy girl she was, (and also having no muscles at all!) didn't know how to defend herself against Jasper.
As the first day inched closer and closer, she began to worry more and more. Some days she wouldn't even eat! She would stay up at night just thinking of the horrors of what may happen. She would think to herself, I wish I didn't have to go to school at all, I'm just going to get beat up over and over again until the end of the school year!
Tomorrow is the first day of school, and she has no idea what is going to happen.
