Chapter seven: The Sleepover part 2

Peridot woke up tangled in someone's arms. She slightly opened her eyes to see blue hair and tan skin. This startled her, so she opened her eyes all the way to see that Lapis, the girl who didn't seem to like her, had her arms wraped around Peridot's waist. Not to mention that their legs were tangled up too.
Peridot wasn't sure if she should wake Lapis up, or if she should just wait for her to wake up. Peridot decided she should wake Lapis up.
"Lapis." She said softly while tapping Lapis gently. She didn't want to be rude. Lapis began to stir, so Peridot said her name again, and this time Lapis opened one eye.
Suddenly, Lapis let go of Peridot and sat up. She honestly didn't want to, but she was so surprised that it just happened. Peridot sat up too, and asked, "Are you alright?"
"Yeah," Lapis responded while scratching her neck. "Sorry, just got a bit freaked out... I haven't woken up with another girl in a while..."
Peridot looked at the floor while mumbling, "I'm sorry, I didn't know..."
"N-no, it's fine, really. Just caught me a little off gaurd is all." Lapis said with a shrug.
After a awkward moment of silence, they got dressed and went downstairs to get some breakfast.
Peridot stared at the fridge with a confused look on her face. "Cereal or toaster waffles?" She asked the girl standing besides her.
"Hmm, I think I'll go with toaster waffles." Said Lapis.
"Coming right up!" Peridot exclamied while taking the waffles out of the freezer. "I think I'll have some too." She said.
When the waffles were done, they ate while making small talk until there was a knock on the door.
"Hmm, wonder who that could be." Peridot mumbled as she walked to door and opened it. But before she could even open the door all the way, she was tackled by a certain somebody...
"AMYTHST WHAT THE HELL?!?!" Peridot shrieked.
"Sup Peri-dactyl." She looked towards the kitchen and saw Lapis. "Wait, am interrupting something?" She wiggled her eyebrows.
"FOR THE LAST TIME, ME AND LAPIS ARE NOT DATING!" Peridot shouted.
"Yo, chill P-dot! Im only curious!" Amythst said while shrugging.
"Curiosity killed the cat." Peridot grumbled.
"Whatcha guys doin today?" Amy asked.
"I'm not sure, any requests Lapis?" Peri asked Lapis.
Lapis shugged. Amythst went to the door and said, "Well I might as well leave you two. See you at school P-dot. Bye Lapis." She walked out of the door.
Peri sat next to Lapis and finished up her waffles.

*Time skip! (Cuz Im lazy af lol)

"So what do you wanna do?" Peridot asked the bluenette.
"I dunno, maybe we can go to the park?" Lapis shrugged.
"Sure! Let's go!" Peridot said with a toothy grin.
When they finally got to the park, Lapis went to the swings and sat on one, only swinging her self a little. Peridot followed and sat on the swing beside Lapis.
"Hey Lapis?"
"Yeah?"
"I just wanted to say sorry for how I treated you before. I know I've said it before, but I feel horrible knowing that I used to hurt you in so many ways... And I'll be honest... I kinda liked bullying you. And now that I know you a little better, I feel even worse because I know that I hurt such an amazing person..." tears started to form in her eyes. She looked at Lapis and saw that she was in full on tears. "Lapis, I didn't mean to make you cry..."
"It's fine." Lapis said while whiping one of her tears. "Anyways, you're different now right?"
Peridot nodded. "I-I-" she was cut off by a hug from Lapis.
"Thanks by the way, for saying that I mean..." Lapis said. She was crying into Peridot's chest. Peridot hugged back, and they sat like that for a while. Finally they got up and decided to go back to Peridot's place. But as they were walking, they were approached by a familiar brute.
Lapis and Peridot tried to run away, but they were grabbed, and couldn't get away.
"Where do you think you're going?" Jasper asked menacingly.
"LET US GO!" Shouted Peridot.
"Awww, or what? I don't see your friends Pip Squeak!" Jasper teased. And with that, she dragged them back to a dark alley (cuz this story is cheesy af lol) they screamed the whole way, but no one seemed to notice, or come help.
