Jax had given me one of his shirts to wear. No surprise it said Sons on it. No way I could ever wear it home unfortunately.
Jax's room had a full bathroom attached to it and I showered quickly. The water pressure was shockingly good, better then my cousins. When I finished I checked myself out in the mirror.
My eye liner and mascara had run down my cheeks. My black, blue and blonde hair was slightly darker due to the wetness. My breast tattoo peeked up from under the towel I had wrapped around my naked body. I still looked the same as ever.
Why did I feel so different inside? Was it because I was starting to doubt my cousins hate for SAMCRO? As far as I've seen they are all decent guys. I hadn't had any bad interactions with them. Something must have happened with my cousins to cause such dislike. I'd have to ask next time I saw them.
Putting on my clothes from yesterday, I pulled on the black shirt Jax gave me. It was a little baggy but if I tucked in one side of it, it wasn't that bad. Digging through my purse which I was thankful I hadn't lost, I pulled out my makeup and hair brush.
Doing my usual dark eyes came easy. Attempting to part my black and blonde sides was a pain in the ass this morning. The electric blue color was scattered through both sides and underneath, which in times like today, wasn't helping me separate the two. Why did I have to be so unique with my hair?
Because it's awesome.
I'd kind of given up on making it perfect. I'd settled for taking some hair from either side and pulling it back, connecting it in the back with my bangs swept to one side. Simple, easy, and cute. Applying the final clip, I felt like I was being watched and a voice confirmed it.
"Finally got it?" Jax asked and I jumped and immediately growled.
"Jesus Jax, again?!" I exclaimed and he started to laugh. "Are you trying to give me a heart attack?"
"Sorry. I thought you knew I was here." He was leaning against the door frame, smiling innocently. I couldn't help the smile that spread across mine. "That shirt looks good on you." His eyes traveled down my body and I felt myself blush.
"Thank you. I'll bring it back to you tomorrow." He shook his head.
"No keep it." Looking down at it, I admired my new shirt. Ideas of how I could cut it to fit me better, rushed into my brain and I couldn't wait to get it home so I could start.
"Thank you again Jax. Really. But I should probably get going now." He nodded.
"Alright. I'll walk you out."
Following him out of the room, we entered a hallway. The room we had come from was all the way at the end. Pictures lined the walls, all motorcycle themed or their symbols of course.
Emerging from the hallway it looked like I was in a bar. As I looked around, I'm pretty sure it was. There was an actual bar, neon lights, a dozen or so tables and chairs, pool tables, and a jukebox. Everything was wood too, and real wood most likely, stereotypical bar.
One wall caught my attention. It was labeled SAMCO at the top and below it was individual framed pictures. Each was of a member of the club and they all were mug shots. Most of the people I'd seen before but some were a mystery to me. Jax caught me starring and stopped.
"Is getting busted apart of initiation?" I joked and Jax chuckled.
"Nah but it just seems to happen at one point or another." We stared at the wall together. My eyes landed on his, he looked the same only had a full beard in it.
