Hey Lovely Readers (if you even exist)

My name's Manaswini (but please call me Mana, much less of a mouthful) and this is my first ever Wattpad story. So... I had this idea about 2 years ago in August but I couldn't show anyone because I felt so afraid it was horrible. But then my sister hijacked my computer, read my story and told me to put it on Wattpad. And before I could put too much thought into it, I did it. That was about 6 months ago and then I took a long hiatus because of school and then my computer broke down. So basically, publishing this story on Wattpad let me continue it.

I've got the entire story planned out and I know how it ends and everything but it takes a while to come up with dialogue that really builds the character. Speaking of characters, I hope I'm doing their inspirations justice (prays hard here). And that the romance isn't too fluffy but still good. See, I read a lot of books and then I always wished there was a book that had fairytale characters, superpowers, romance, adventure, action etc. but that the romance wasn't too fluffy and the character arcs all combined seamlessly. And now, I'm writing the story I always wished was on bookshelves to read.

I'd just like to say I'm super happy I published this story on Wattpad because it means I can put author notes and that just feels like I'm really interacting with my readers and getting their suggestions and stuff. If you've noticed, some author's put competitions in their ANs and stuff but I go with questions related to the story so we can get a good discussion flowing. Also, I love the cast character's stuff. Lastly, this will be my first long author's note and there'll be one when the story's complete. I'll try to finish and upload the story ASAP because as a reader, I know it was a chore to wait for the next chapter of whatever story I was reading (especially if I was really into it as in the case of the Wattpad story Hopeless Situation). I'm also doing a Jelsa story when I get time because it's my total OTP <3 And I'm going to start a competition, who ever has the best answer to the AN question gets a dedication and gets to make up the next twist in the story :) 

So, I did make up a soundtrack for the story just to explain characters and really set the tone for them. 

Ravenna - Break Away by Kelly Clarkson. I feel like she won't ever forget who she loves or her background but she also wants to leave that atmosphere and find herself. I also think she needs to learn who she is and find out where she belongs. 

Ruby - Better than Revenge by Taylor Swift. Yes, it's a song about taking revenge on the girl who stole her BF but I think the line "There is nothing I do better than revenge" perfectly sums up what Ruby is like. She wants revenge and she is going to get it. And in the end, she's going to be the one who walks away like a boss. 

Arielle - Speechless by Natasha Bedingfield. Isn't it obvious? Also, she's talking about how she becomes speechless around the boy she loves so that works out nicely. 

Ella - Typical from the movie Teen Spirit. Ella is definitely not typical and she's going to show everyone who she really is. 

Adrian and Ravenna - Underneath by Adam Lambert. It's about looking underneath everything else and having the courage and wish to do so. It's about being able to see what's underneath and that shapes their relationship

Ella and Christian - Clarity by Zedd ft Foxes. They hate each other but they need the other to feel complete and even if the relationship is doomed for tradgedy, when they're together everything makes sense. 

Logan and Ruby - Firestarter by Samantha Jade. They ignite the flames of desire and passion in each other ;)

Eric and Arielle - You Belong with Me by Taylor Swift. If you've seen the music video, you know why I picked this song. And you already know who fits in which roles. If not, it's about this boy and girl who are best friends and she loves him but he's dating a bitchy cheerleader. 

Victor and Jared - Evil Angel by Breaking Benjamin. Sung from the point of their victims who see them as charming, handsome, sweet and smart before realising they are psycho killers. 

Emalia and Amberley - Sweet Dreams by Marilyn Manson. It's all about abuse - either being abused or inflicting it. And the two are very manipulative and abusive. One might even consider them sociopaths... 

Vanessa - Chelsea. Would be sung by Arielle as she realises what a vindictive bitch Vanessa is. In this case, Chelsea is the description of Vanessa from Arielle's POV

So there's the soundtrack and the cast is on the side bar. For people with the Wattpad application, it follows as such:

Anyway, so now you know the soundtrack and cast. So I've decided to do this. In the comments, you can do the following:

1. Answer the ANQ (author's note question) and the best answer gets a dedication and can make up the next plot twist. 

2. Make a song suggestion for the chapter (this one goes out to all the musos and I really would love to listen to some new music)

3. Make a casting change. Like if you think there are better actors out there who could play the character, just tell me the name of the actor and the character you want them to play. If I think it's a better choice, I'll change it. Please stay true to the character appearance though. 

4. Just send me a comment about whatever and I'll reply. I don't care how random the comment is, I will defo try to reply :) 

Also, the time period of this is kinda warped because my language (i.e slang and swear words) got into the story which was originally meant to be like 1850s or something. So... you can treat it as some alternate universe or something if you're confused by that.
