*Elliott's POV*

When Lucas left that day, I felt kind of warm. You know the feeling when you're just too overwhelmed with something, it doesn't leave your mind. That's my right state at the moment, because I feel so... I don't know how to describe it. I'd say sweet, but sour at the same time. A mix between satisfaction and embarrassment, between happiness and anger.

I laid in my bed, wrapped in my warm, fuzzy purple blanket and read a book. I liked it a lot. It was a classic novel, but still a little hard to understand. My lamp had been turned on spreading just a small ray of light and lighting up the room just so I don't step on the wrong Lego brick.

I felt sleepy, but I didn't let sleep get me yet. I didn't have much to do, but I got up from my bed, feeling a little sad because I had to leave the warmth. I jogged to the kitchen, turning as much light as possible in the process. As I turned the last light on, I went to the fridge, grabbing a small cupcake. I bit into it, letting the chocolate taste wrap around my tongue.

After eating the cupcake, I felt satisfied and jogged back upstairs, turning the lights off. I brushed my teeth, then cleansed and exfoliated my face. I put some night cream on my face, so it stays moisturised trough the cold November nights.

I went back to bed, turning my lamp off and laying my book on the small table beside my bed. After a couple of minutes, I drifted off in the peaceful darkness.

I woke up in the morning, a nice Sunday. My face didn't feel very oily but I decided to splash it with water anyway. I brushed my teeth and combed my butt-long hair.

Maybe I should trim it.

I smiled to myself in the mirror and took some scissors from the drawer near the bathtub and started cutting my hair. I had cut a fair amount if hair.

Oh dear! I have to clean this up...

My hair was now a little beneath my shoulders. I liked it like that. I undressed and very graciously slipped into my bathtub. After an hour, I got out of the bathtub, and put a towel around my naked body. I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, as I went out of the toilet and grabbed some sweatpants and a basic white shirt. I put them on as well as my undies and started drying my hair. I felt beautiful.

When I dried my hair, I went downstairs and just as I put the kettle on the stove, my phone started ringing. I picked up and put it to my ear.

"Hello. This is Elliott speaking." I said politely into the phone.

"Hello. I have to inform you, miss, that due to your now week long sickness we are bound to fire you." Said the person I recognised as the chef cook and manager of the kitchen from my workplace.

"Wait..what?" I said in complete shock.

How was I gonna pay my bills now? Oh no!

"I believe you heard me. I am very sorry, but boss said to fire you. You were a good employee. Bye now, miss." He said and hung up. I put my phone on the kitchen counter and stared at the boiling water in the kettle.

I picked up my phone and texted Jo and Chris:

E: My house ASAP!

And hit send.

A couple minutes later, I heard the bell ring. I opened the door, revealing a very sleepy Jo in her pyjamas and Chris in sweatpants and a shirt behind her. I invited them in soon after, offering them tea or coffee.

"What do you mean, you got fired?" Jo said surprise evident on her face.

"Yeah..chef called this morning. He said the boss told him to fire me." I told them and Chris snorted.

"No, I just don't understand why Mr. Jefferson would fire you?" Chris said in disbelief.

"I don't know. But what I do know is that I need a new job, ASAP!" I told them and Jo nodded in agreement. An idea flashed on her face as she straightened her posture and turned to me.

"What body shape do you  have?" She asked curiously.

"Jo, it's not time for me to become a stripper. I'm not that desperate ." I said and they chuckled.

"No silly. I though, maybe you could try modeling? I have a friend who could get you a modeling job at Victoria's Secret." She said and Chris nodded.

"I'm shy guys. I don't think I could go walking in high heels half-naked on a runway." I added looking to the floor. Jo observed my actions. Then she spoke.

"I think you should try? I mean, you're at lest 5'8", aren't you?" She asked and I nodded.
"And you're an hourglass?" She added and I nodded, once again.

"Great! That makes you an angel material." Chris said as we proceeded calling the agency.

Hello pooplings.

This chapter is a little shorter than usual and I'm sorry. I'm just so tired, we are having finals now, so it's all very tiring. Can you believe it's 9 pm and I feel so sleepy?

Anyhow, don't forget to vote and comment and feel free to notice my spelling mistakes in here because I'm super tired. Also quick thing.. I might have mentioned before that Elliott is 5'3", but I changed it into 5'8"  so please don't attack me in the comments.

Have a nice life! Baii!
