* * * İ heard the small footsteps on the grass. She was ought to get me.
İ was playing hide and seek with my children. İ, the very fortunate 29-year-old, was playing hide and seek with my son and daughter.
My son always hid very well, just like his father. Whilst my daughter was the clumsy little sunflower.
"Mommy, İ found you!" She yelled laughing in her miniature voice. How İ loved her small voice, calling 'mommy'.
"Want me to help you find Enoch?" İ asked her when she turned her head to the sound of a car pulling up in our driveway.
"Zaja? Enoch? Elliott? Where are you guys?" My husband called. After just a couple of seconds İ heard the small footsteps of my daughter running towards her father. And İ, well İ was running after her. After all, she was the clumsy little sunflower with the bluest eyes.
"Hey babe, how has your day been?" Lucas asked me, picking up his daughter.
"Amazing. We've been playing hide and seek. Hmmm..want to help us find Enoch?" İ asked him. He nodded and started running after us.
We found Enoch after an hour of looking. Well, we didn't really find him. He came out claiming he was tired of waiting and hungry. The 5-year-old never seemed to stop surprising me.
"Mommy can we have fruit salad?" Enoch asked.
"Without or with whipped cream?"
"With, with!" Zaja jumped around excitedly.
İ chuckled and made them apple, banana, pineapple, strawbery and mango fruit salad. They always loved the salads more than smoothies, İ don't know why. Maybe because the raw fruit melts in their mouth, so deliciously.
