Chapter 29: Communication Part 1

"OH YEAH THIS IS GOING TO BE SOOOOOOO MUCH FUUUUN!!!"

"Och! Becca really? Do you need to yell?

"oops sorry."

"You better hope I don't loose my hearing." Krista yelled back at her wiggling her finger in her ear. "How am I supposed to drive like this Jalena?" She looked over at me, giving that I love her but I really want to reach my hand back there and strangle her look.

"Girl you don't understand a weekend with...No parents! I'm on top of the world right now!" She squealed unable to contain her excitement. She wasn't the only one though. We all were and we all had our own reasons. Becca had mentioned something about an out of town manhunt and couldn't wait to see all the fine guys that were going to be there, and Krista, was finally going to able to see what happens when the boys go and mostly to find out what Niko had been up to all those years when she was never allowed to go with them. IMO she didn't need to know because all it will do is cause them to fight over his past... again... In all honestly I think they both needed relationship counseling, I've never seen a more bipolar couple than those two. They are absolutely crazy. You could totally tell they were so in love with each other though. Becca and I have come to a conclusion that they fight just to make up and make out.

Speaking of making out I hadn't seen Justin that much after the competition. I was still a little upset after he shut me down that night after competition. I know, I have know right to be he was so sweet and just wants to do right by me. I just needed time to get my act together. But what I really need to do was just tell him and be done with it. Every time I got up the nerve to tell him I shut down. This relationship thing is all new to me, I guess to put it simply I'm scared of his reaction.

It was easy to put distance between us since he had gotten grounded after he and the guys missed a mandatory post practice game that was scheduled an hour after they had gotten back home from the infamous 'state game.' When Mr. T found out that they instead came to see our competition he immediately called their parents. Some of the moms were ok or didn't really care I mean really they came to support us. But not Anthony's mom she went and lost her mind and threw a fit yelling about responsibilities and setting an example to all black males and especially being a roll model for his baby brother, he should have known better yada, yada, yada. So needless to say she got the rest of the boys in trouble. Their weekend getaway was at stake thanks to Anthony's mom. So to make up for it they took to being grounded for a whole week, no going out just straight to school practice and then home. Oh and a crazy play date with the one and only Justin's little sister Harmony and friends. No phones, no computers unless used for homework and most of all no girls! That was the coach's idea. According to Becca, who seems to have all the info, Mr. T mention to Anthony's momma that the boys were all acting girl crazy and that hit a soar spot for her, (being a mommas boy and all she never took to the idea of him dating ANYBODY )Like he listens though.

So here we are finally free of parent traps and school assignments, and on to being carefree young somewhat adults getting ready to do what young adults do... I'm just wondering how the heck we ended up in the mall after only being on the rode for 20 minutes, oh, that's right... Becca.

Becca pulled both Krista and I by our arms into Victoria's Secrets that really was no secret at all just some expensive as all hell bras and panties but they were super cute on and I needed a sexy pair for my night with Justin, yes I'm still planning on getting some don't judge me. "We need some sexy nightwear for the Pajama party one of their friends are throwing at the house next door! I have to look extra good. Do you know how many hotties are going to be there? My Gawd! I love Weekends!" Excitedly, Becca pulled us further into the store throwing more lingerie than her shopping bag could hold.
