Dan and Phil's Daughter

Chapter Fourteen

"Hey, girls, do you want pizza?" Phil asks as he grabs his phone.
"Yes, please!" Morgan and I say in unison. Phil gets his phone and stares at it, looks like he's reading a text or something.

"Dad, are you okay?" I ask, concern in my voice.

Phil's POV

I got my phone and I've received a text message from the Dan's doctor... what?

Doctor: Good afternoon, Phil.
Phil: Good afternoon, Doctor.
Doctor: I've made a mistake.
Phil: About what?
Doctor: Dan.
Phil: Huh? What about him?
Doctor: He's alive. He was never dead.

I stared at my phone in awe. Was this a prank?

Phil: What? But... his heart stopped!
Doctor: Temporarily. It just stopped for an hour, we don't know how it happened. But he's alive.
Phil: Where is he?!
Doctor: Hospital. See you then.

I was in shock. Was this really true? My husband was never dead?

"Dad, are you okay?" Loren asked, concern in her voice. I grabbed my coat.
"Dad, where are you off to?" Loren stood up. "Don't worry, I'll be back." I say.

"But where-" Loren begins, but I'm out the door.
I begin sprinting to the hospital, which took approximately ten minutes to reach.
I went to the receptionist desk.
"Daniel Howell." I pant. The lady types on her computer before answering. "221B." (Ayeee Sherlock reference ;) )
I nod and start running again. I'm so unfit!

I enter room 221B and I see Dan awake.
He notices me, and smiles, I smile back. "Dan!" I exclaim, and hug him so tightly.
"I thought you were dead! Thank god you're not!" I say in relief, still hugging Dan.

"Oh, Phil, I love you so so much. You know that?" Dan smiles, he closes his eyes he forms his lips into a duck, he wants a kiss. I smile and kiss him.
"C'mon, let's get you home."

"Does Loren know about this?"
"No,"
"Oh, she will be surprised about this, then!"
"Yes, indeed."
Dan smirks.

I come inside the house, and I see Loren and Morgan watching television.
"Hey, guys! I have a surprise for you." I say, they both look at me.
And Dan comes out the door, and both Morgan and Loren's jaws drop and eyes widen.
"What the hell?! Dad?!" Loren shouts as a tear rolls down her cheek, she runs and hugs Dan.

"How are you alive?!" Morgan asks in shock.
Dan sits on the couch and explains everything

"Wow," both of the girls say after the story has been told.

Loren's POV

I check my phone and I completely forgot!
It's the 31st of December, and it's 11:57 pm!
"Guys! 3 minutes til the New Years!" I yell, everyone looks at me in shock.

"Oh yeah!" Phil says as he turns on the television.

The countdown begins.

"Oh my gosh, yay! This is so exciting!" I say.

"I know, right!" Morgan agrees.

"I'm so glad we can start off the new year by realizing Dan is still alive," Phil smiles at Dan.

"Yeah, I'm glad, too." Dan smiles at Phil.

"Me too!" I say.

"And I'm glad I have had a girlfriend this year. Wonder what next year will be like." Morgan smiles at me.

"I'm so glad I have you, too, Morgan." I smile back.

"Happy New Year!" We all say in unison. Dan kisses Phil, and I kiss Morgan.
