The moment I knew

Chapter 6

"Mommy I want to see Lizzie and Julia"
Angelique sighed "I've already told you Avery, they do not want us here"
"I'm sorry"
"I know, it's okay, come here" Angie said pulling her daughter on her lap.

A few moments later there was a knock at the door, Angie sighed getting up and answering the door, she was surprised and unsure how to react when she saw who it was.
"Hey" Liz smiled
"Hi"
"Can we come in please?" Angie nodded moving over for the two to walk in. "Thank you" Liz said in almost a whisper.
"LIZZIE! JULIA!" Avery said running up to them and hugging both.
"Hi jelly bean" Julia said
"Hi pretty girl" Liz smiled
"I'm going to take you out for a little bit so your mommy and Elizabeth can talk, only if that's okay with her though"
"Mommy please can I go with Julia?" Avery asked excitedly, Angie nodded and smiled.
"Get your jacket please"
"Okay" Avery said running to her bag
"Give me a kiss goodbye please" Angie said bending down to her daughter level kissing her daughter "behave okay" Avery nodded before taking Julia's hand.

Angie and Liz smiled at each other "um did you want to sit down?" Angie asked
"Yeah"
"Drink?"
"No thank you" Liz smiled
"Why did you come here Liz?"
"Today, you said you came back for me, so now I'm doing the same" Angie nodded not knowing what to say. "Why did come back for me?"
"I missed you Liz, I missed you so much" she said holding back the tears.
"I missed you too Angie, are you going to tell Barnabas that he's hers?"
Angie shook her head "I can't Liz, I'm scared that if I do he will take her from me and I'll never be able to see her again" Angie sobbed.
"It's okay, I'm not going to let him take her from you Angie" Liz said holding Angie close and kissing her head.
"I'm sorry I left you twice for him, I left someone who cared for me and would do anything for me for someone who wants nothing to do with me at all!" Angie sobbed again. 
"It's okay, I forgive you baby" the two made eye contact moving their eyes up and down before slowing moving their heads together and kissing each other on the lips. Liz pulled away quickly and looked at Angie in the eyes "I want you to move in with Julia, Carolyn and I"
"Yes!" Angie said happily and nodding moving in for another kiss.

Half an hour later Julia and Avery returned, Liz slowly moved a sleeping Angie from her chest and went to answer the door, Avery was asleep in Julia's arms.
"What did she say?" Julia asked
"She said yes" Liz smiled
"Oh honey" Julia smiled hugging her friend, careful not to wake Avery up "are you going to stay here tonight?"
"Yeah, just place her in the middle here thank you" Liz smiled, Julia left and Liz climbed back into bed wrapping her arm around Avery and placing her hand on Angelique's hip.
