"Mommy?" Angelique lifted her head from Liz's shoulder quickly wiped the tears away "he made you cry again" Avery said sadly.
"Hey, no he didn't, I'm okay" Avery smiled slightly and climbed onto her mothers lap and wiped her cheeks before laying on her chest and wrapping her arms around her waist, Angie kissed the top of her head and then rested her head on her daughters.
Liz smiled and stood up "I'll leave you two alone"
"NO! please stay" Avery said looking up
"Okay" Liz smiled sitting down back next to Angie.
"Julia you too and Carolyn" The girls sat there for a while before Julia had to head out to work.
"Hey how about you go and get ready so we can leave" Angie told Avery
"Okay" she said getting off of her lap "Liz can you please do my hair?" she asked holding her hand out to Elizabeth. Liz smiled and took her hand and both made their way up to Avery's room , Avery sat on Liz's lap and she remembered when she used to do Carolyn's hair and how she always wanted her mother to do it for her.
"Lizzie?"
"hmm?" Liz snapped out of her gaze
"Are you done?"
"Oh yeah, sorry'
"Thank you" Avery said turning around to face Liz
"You're welcome sweetie" Liz smiled.
Avery wrapped her arms around Liz's neck "Thank you" she said again
"Aw it's okay, I only did your hair" Liz let out a small laugh enjoying the sweet moment
"No, thank you for making my mommy happy" she said quietly, Liz smiled again holding Avery tighter.
