Chapter 21

The car stopped in front of the house, Liz stared at it for a while not wanting to move, Avery had fallen asleep in the car so Julia went to the door with her, she knew Liz didn't want to have anything to do with her at the moment but she knew she needed someone by her side.

The two slowly walked up to the door and Liz knocked on it, Barnabas answered.

"Elizabeth, Julia? What are you two doing here?" He asked
"Um" Liz started to cry again
"Are you okay Elizabeth?" Barnabas asked, he barley saw her cry so he knew it was serious
"Angie was in an accident and she didn't make it" she started sobbing. Barnabas didn't say anything for awhile, he just stared at the broken woman.
"I'm sorry for her passing Liz I really am" Liz smiled "but now she's rotting in hell where she belongs" Liz looked up at him with so much anger but she was also hurt, both her and Juli tried so hard not to slap him across the face, what kind of man would say something like that? They both knew he didn't like her but that was in called for.
"I- we have to go" Liz said quickly turning around and walking fast back to the car, Julia follows her close behind and both slammed the door shut, Liz started sobbing again and Julia placed her hand in Liz's shoulder.
"Lizzie?"
"Just drive!" Julia started the car and made their way back home.

Barnabas stood with his back against the door, he looked up at the ceiling and sighed, the truth was he was really upset that Angelique died, she may have done some horrible things in the past but she was different, he had started to think of her as a pretty good person.

"Everything okay?" Vicky asked being followed by Willie
"Angelique's dead" he said, Vicky covered her mouth with her hand, Barnabas walked over and held her, he wasn't hugging Vicky to comfort her, he was holding her because he was the one that needed to be held
