Chapter 12

(Flashback 1972)

Angie's hand flew to her mouth when she saw the positive sign on the test, mixed feelings were going through her mind, she was happy and excited to be a mother but scared of how he would react when he finds out, she didn't want to tell him, she couldn't she knew that he would take the baby from her as soon as it was born. She decided to go to the only person she knew that she cold trust with this.

Angie paced back and fourth before knocking on the door, she took a deep breath and placed her hand on her stomach, quickly removing it when she heard the door opening.

"Angelique, what are you doing here?" Liz asked

"Is Barnabas home?"

"No he's not"

"Good" she said pushing pas Elizabeth

"What are you doing here Angelique?" Liz asked crossing her arms

"Um can we talk please?" Liz sighed and guided Angie to the living room

"What do you want to talk about?" Liz asked with a slight attitude

Angie suddenly got to nervous to tell her "um, I just thought that maybe we could talk?"

Li sighed again "do you want a drink?"

"Water please" Liz returned back a few moments later and handed the water to Angie "thank you" Angie smiled, Liz nodded and smiled back.

The two had been talking for quiet a while before Angie quickly shoved her water into Liz's hand and ran to the bathroom.

"Are you pregnant?" Liz asked crossing her arms leaning on the door frame, Angie turned around and nodded, tears were streaming down her face, Liz walked over to the sink and wet a cloth and walked over to Angie sitting next to her lifting her chin with her index finer and started to wipe her face. 

Angie smiled "how did you know?"

"I've gone through this before Angie, is he the father?"

Angie nodded slightly "but you can't tell hime please?"

"Why don't yo want to tell him"

"He hates me, he will either tell me to get rid of it or he will take it away from me as soon as it's born and I'm not losing this baby" Angie cried, Liz pulled her in close and started to rock her back and fourth, Angie sobbed into Elizabeths chest.

"It's okay, I won't tell him, you're going to be okay, everthing is going to be okay" Liz said.

No one said anything to each other, Angie was crying again and she wasn't exactly sure why, Liz had her arm around her and Julia held her hand.

"There okay, I told you what happened now please leave" Angie said

"Angelique?" Barnabas said

"Just leave please!"

"I'll lead you out"Julia said stadning up and walking to the front door.
