Almost three weeks had past since Angelique died, Liz had barley talked to anyone and kept herself locked away in her room, Barnabas was fed up with this behaviour and decided that he was going to change it. Barnabas made is way up to Elizabeth's room, she was sitting on her chair looking out the window.

"What are you doing in here?" Julia whispered

"This needs to stop, Elizabeth you need to just get the hell over this whole Angelique thing okay, for a while I missed her too but then I found out that she took her life away for her own selfish reasons and you don't need to sit here and feel bad about it anymore! she left you and her daughter alone, she needs a mother! she tells you that she loves you and she tells Avery she loves her too and she will stay forever and she just kills herself!"

"Please stop" Liz cried

"Barnabas that's enough" Julia said

"No! I'm not going t stop! that woman was selfish and didn't deserve any of the good things to happen to her! she killed people and now she is paying for that in hell where she belongs!" Liz stood up and slapped him hard across the face causing everyone else in the room to gasp, Barnabas held his face and stared at her.

"YOU ARE GOING TO STAND HERE AND SAY SHE HAS KILLED PEOPLE, SO DID YOU, YOU KILLED JULIA, THE HIPPIES, AND ANGELIQUE, SHE IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU TOLD HER EVERYDAY THAT SHE WAS A HORRIBLE MOTHER AND SHE STARTED TO BELIEVE THAT! SHE WAS THE BEST MOTHER I HAVE EVER SEEN, SHE CARED SO MUCH ABOUT AVERY AND SHE PROTECTED HER LIKE CRAZY. YOU MAY NOT HAVE LOVED HER BUT I DID AND I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO DO THAT ANYMORE, I WONT BE ABLE TO HOLD HER AND TELL HER THAT EVERYTHING S GONG TO BE OKAY WHEN SHE WAS SCARED THAT YOU MIGHT DO SOMETHING I WONT BE ABLE TO DANCE WITH HER ANYYMORE TO CANT HELP FALLING IN LOVE BECAUSE SHE IS GONE! YES SHE HAD FEELINGS FOR JULIA AND THAT WAS PART OF THE REASON SHE DID THIS BUT WE COULD HAVE LEFT AND LIVED TOGETHER BUT SHE COULDNT GET AWAY FROM EVERYTHING YOU EVER TOLD HER AND I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU SO GOD DAMN MUCH! GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Liz fell to the floor and begun sobbing, Carolyn ran over and held her mother close, Avery ran and crawled onto her lap, Barnabas watched and turned around to leave the room. "I want to adopt Avery" Liz said causing Barnabas to turn back around.

"Excuse me? you are not taking my daughter Liz, she Is my daughter and now Angelique is gone so I get her"

"No! I hate you, I don't want to live with you, Lizzie told my mommy she wasn't going to let you take me and she is keeping that promise"

"Well you are my daughter and you will live with me!" Barnabas said aggressively, Avery tightened her grip around Liz's waist, scared of what he will do.

"You need to leave now" Julia said taking his arm, Barnabas sighed and followed Julia to the front door.
